I understand my knowledge of demon legends and how it relates to the Bible may be flawed. I have done my research but I am not a professional. I intend no wrongdoing or insult. :)
"An old flame huh?" Amenadiel asked Eve as they sat at the bar at Stark Tower sipping on martinis.
"Mhm." Eve said eyeing him over her drink.
"Are you going to tell me who this mystery person is?" Amendiel questioned. Eve rolled her eyes. She knew she had to tell him. She had a feeling her past lover was behind the demon invasion. She had kept the affair a secret for so long. And not just due to the want for privacy, but due to embarrassment. She never loved this person but she did care for them in some way. And if Eve was honest with herself she hated that she once cared for them.
"You won't like it." Eve finally said after battling her thoughts silently for a few moments.
"What matters not is what I feel about your past dalliances. What does matter is how we can solve this problem without any loss of life. Just because the demons haven't killed any humans yet doesn't mean they won't. You have to tell me what you know Eve. Earth is our home now. We have an obligation to protect it." Amenadiel spoke. He truly loved the people of Earth. And all he wanted was to keep his family safe from harm. Eve put her drink down and looked out the large windows of Stark Tower. It was night and the city was glittering with all colors of light. She smiled to herself. He was right. This was her home now. And no matter how she felt personally about the situation they were in, she needed to be honest.
"Asmodeus." Eve said softly. Amenadiel froze in his seat. He shut his eyes and attempted to hold the anger building inside of him. A feeling he rarely allowed himself to feel. He took a deep breath and opened his eyes and Eve sat looking at him with fear on her face.
"Regardless of your past with him. We need to find him. Do you have any idea where he might have gone after leaving Hell?" Amenadiel replied after another moment of silent anger.
"Thats it? No speech? No rage? You do remember Asmodeus right?" Eve asked, she was shocked at how calm he was being.
"I do. And I will deal with the feelings toward what you have told me about it at another time. What matters now is the demon invasion on Earth. So again; where would he be hiding on Earth?" Amenadiel asked again.
"I don't know. To be honest our interaction was brief. The only reason I have any idea as to why he would be behind this is because when we were together all he would talk about is how he was the rightful ruler of Hell. He didn't believe Lucifer deserved it. He is jealous of him. He always has been." Eve responded. Amenadiel took a few minutes to digest this information. And after he did he stood and walked away from Eve. His mind reeling with anger and confusion.
Later that night Sigyn lay in her bed next to Loki. Their bodies turned toward the ceiling on their backs as Loki used his magic to put a display of fireworks on their bedroom ceiling. They watched in silence as the colors flickered upon the surfaces of their room. Something Loki used to do for Sigyn when she would have nightmares as a child. He would sneak into her bedroom and show her the fireworks. It would distract her long enough to calm her mind. And now as an adult it was something they would still do together to calm the storm of stress within their minds. And after all these years, it still helped.
"You have been very quiet sense Eve's arrival." Sigyn said softly. Loki hummed in response. He didn't want to admit it but he did feel a slight ting of jealousy when he saw how affectionate Eve was being toward Lucifer. He loved Sigyn with all his heart. But past love still lingers in ones soul. Even forever sometimes. "She is very beautiful." Sigyn said. Loki hummed again. Sigyn could tell he didn't want to talk about Eve just yet. And she understand why. She never really confronted how Loki and Lucifer had a real relationship in the past. They knew they had been intimate but she thought that was the end of it. But she would be lying to herself if she thought it began and ended with sex. Because it didn't. Just like Jennifer Mason had love for the King of Hell so did Loki. They confided in each other through some of their darkest times. Through heart break and betrayal. It made sense that this love triangle was more than a physical attraction. Their hearts were alined. And Sigyn felt that even though her past lives as Jennifer Mason showed she had love for Lucifer; her life as Sigyn also held love for him.
A knock came to their door and Sigyn stood from their bed. She opened it just a crack and peered through. Lucifer stood before her with a pained look on his face.
"Bad time?" Lucifer asked. Sigyn opened the door wider and allowed him to enter the room. And it was as if time had paused. The world had stopped spinning and the only thing that existed was the three of them.
Loki shifted in the bed and Lucifer climbed in and then Sigyn. The fireworks continued to shine upon their ceiling as the three lay in bed staring above them. Their hands slowly intertwining their fingers together. Lucifer lay between Loki and Sigyn and sighed. The three didn't speak a word. But it was obvious what was happening in their minds. An unspoken feeling of adoration between the trio. And whether or not they would admit it out loud, this was the moment they knew they could not ignore their feelings any longer. They needed to face it head on and make a decision. They could not go on loving one another in the dark any longer. After Lucifer and Chloe Decker broke things off he was a mess. He thought she was the one to mend his broken heart after losing Sigyn time and time again. But now after seeing how far Sigyn had come in this life. And how Loki still cared for him. He knew he could not cower in the shadows of his heart any longer.
With their hands intertwined and their eyes trained on the lights above them the three lovers made a silent vow to forever care for each other. Regardless of what the future holds.
