Cedric Diggory

-The Second Task: Black Lake-

Y/N P.O.V

I'm sitting by the lake with Cedric. I lean my back against the tree while he lay his head on my lap. I gently run my hand through his hair. He have his eyes close, but I know he's not asleep.

"Cedric?" I said, caressing his cheek softly. "Yeah?" He said, opening one eye to look at me. "Have you figured out yet? About what the 2nd task would be" I asked. He lets out a soft sigh and shake his head.

"No, I haven't figure out anything yet... every time I attempt to open the egg... this loud shrilling sound is too deafening to hear..." he said. "Hmm... I'm sure you'll figure it out" I said, smiling at him. He smiles softly at me.

He sits up and turns to look at me. He gently cup my cheek. "Thank you... your word really comforted me" he said, still smiling. I just smile at him. He stares at me for a few seconds, then slowly leans in to place a soft kiss on my lips. I close my eyes and kisses him back.

I pull away from the kiss. I turn my head to see the sun beginning to set. "It's almost time for dinner... let's go to the Dining Hall?" I said. "Yeah... lets go" he said, pecking my lips once again.

He stands up and offers his hand to me. I place my hand on top of his and he pulls me up to my feet. Then we make our way to the Dining Hall hand in hand.

When we reach the Dining Hall. Cedric place a soft kiss on my forehead. Then he make his way over to the Hufflepuff table, while I make my way to the Gryffindor.

I take a seat next to Hermione who smiles at me. "I see you and Cedric have gotten a lot closer. Are you two together? I even saw him kissing your forehead" she said. "Yeah... we are..." I said, smiling at her. She grins at me. "I'm happy to see you happy..." she said. "Thank you, Hermione..." I said. Then I turn to look at Harry, who's sitting across from me.

"Cedric still hasn't figure out what the 2nd task will be... what about you, Harry? Have you figure it out?" I asked. He shakes his head. "No... haven't" he said. "Awe... don't worry... you will figure something out" I said. He just smiles at me.

Professor McGonagall walks towards us. "I need Mr. Weasley, Ms. Granger and Ms. Duchanne to follow me please..." she said. The three of us looks at each other. We say bye to Harry and stands up to follow her.

She leads us to the office and turns to look at us. "Is there something wrong, Professor?" I said. "I'm sorry about this... but this is necessary in order to help the Champions..." she said. She take out her wand and points it at me. That's all I can remember as my surrounding turns dark.

Cedric P.O.V

I've figure out what's the second task would be. So I decided to tell the news to Y/N. But I can't find her anywhere. Which is why I've been roaming around Hogwarts, but I can't seem to find my girlfriend.

I look forward and notice Harry walking not far from me. Harry is Y/N's best friend, maybe he'll know where she is. I jog towards him, trying to catch up with him.

"Harry!" I called out. He turns to look at me. I stop when I'm standing in front of him. "Have you seen Y/N?" I asked. "No... that's why I'm confused. Ron and Hermione also no where to be seen..." he said. "Oh... I really hope they will be fine..." I said, feeling worried for my girlfriend and her friends. Harry just nods his head in agreement.
