Draco P.O.V
I heard what happened to Y/N, as well as with her mudblood friend. I don't care about that girl. I just care about Y/N.
I'm making my way to the Hospital Wings. I need to see how she's doing. I heard she have a head injury. Merlin... I hope it's not something bad. I'm going to the Hospital Wings alone without the two.
I enter the Hospital and look around. Eventually, my eyes landed on Y/N, who's laying on the bed with a bandage wrapped around her head. I frown at the sight and walk towards her.
I gently push the chair closer to her and take a seat. I stare at her sleeping figure. I hesitate for a bit. Then I gently reach out and gently hold her hand. I smile softly to myself at how warm her hand feels in mine.
The truth is, I have a crush on her. A huge one at that. But I doubt that she'll ever notice me. After all, in her eyes I'm just a huge git. But I can't stop myself from falling deeper for her everyday.
I glance at the bed next to her, to see her mudblood friend laying there petrified. As soon as I saw her, I remember the ripped out page I took back at the bookstore.
I reach inside my pocket and take it out. I unfold it and scan through the content.

I know... I had figured it out even before any of them knew about it. After all, most of my family members were associated with HIM.
I fold the paper again, and gently place it in Y/N's hand. I let my hand linger there for a bit, while I stare at Y/N's face. At least... there are no sign of pain on her face. Which means she's going to be alright.
I lean forward slightly. "Y/N... I know that I haven't been the best person. I know that I'm nothing but a huge jerk towards you... towards your friends. But I care about you, Y/N. I hope this piece of paper will help you solve everything. I know you can. You're a smart..." I said, in a soft voice. I smile softly and lean down to place a soft kiss on her forehead. I let go of her hand and stand up straight, and walk out of the Hospital Wings.
Harry P.O.V
I'm making my way to the Hospital Wings to check on my two girl best friends. It's been about 4 days, but Y/N hasn't waken up. Hermione is still petrified. Seeing their conditions, make me feel so helpless.
When I get there, I saw Malfoy walking out of the Hospital. I narrow my eyes at him as he walks past me. He just glare at me and keep walking. I furrow my eyebrow. That's weird... he never not make any remarks on me.
I just shrug my shoulders and turn around. I enter the hospital wings and check on Hermione first. Her eyes were still wide-open as if she was awake. But I know she isn't.
I get up and walk towards Y/N's seat. I take a seat on the chair and scoot closer to her. I stare at Y/N's face as she lay there unmoving.
"Y/N... when will you wake up?" I said. But I receive no answer. I bit my lips nervously. I hope Y/N will wake up soon. Ron and I are helpless without them. They're the smartest ones out of the four of us.
"Ron and I even got into trouble with Aragog... we went to the Dark Forest to look for an answer. It wasn't Aragog. It was something else. But Aragog refuses to tell us... he just said that something was very terrifying..." I said, hoping she'd hear me somehow. But even if she heard me... she's not responding to me.
"Hagrid got banished from Hogwarts because he's friends with Aragog. Aragog is a giant spider... his offspring didn't bother Hagrid from of his command. But it doesn't not apply on Ron and I. We almost get eaten... oh how I wish you two were there... you with your dominance against Magical Creatures. While Hermione with her knowledge. It was a very scary experience without you two, Y/N..." I said. Things are starting to get out of hands.
I look down at Y/N's hand and gently hold it. I feel something in her hand. I take it to see a folded piece of paper. I furrow my eyebrow in confusion. Then I unfold it.
The Basilisk is a giant serpent, also known as the King of Serpents. It is a magical beast that is bred usually by Dark Wizards. Herpo the Foul was the first to breed a Basilisk; he accomplished this by hatching a chicken egg beneath a toad which resulted in the creature known as a Basilisk.
Basilisk breeding was banned in Medieval times. The practise can be hidden when the Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures comes to check by simply removing the egg from the toad.
Of the many fearsome beasts and monsters that roam our land, there is none more curious or more deadly than the Basilisk, known also as the King of Serpents. This snake, which may reach gigantic size, and live many hundreds of years, is born from a chicken's egg, hatched beneath a toad. Its methods of killing are most wondrous, for aside from its deadly and venomous fangs, the Basilisk has a murderous stare, and all who are fixed with the beam of its eye shall suffer instant death. Spiders flee before the Basilisk, for it is their mortal enemy, and the Basilisk flees only from the crowing of the rooster, which is fatal to it.
My eyes widened. I turn to look at Y/N, who's eyes are still close. "Thank you, Y/N..." I said. I stand up and run out of the hospital wings. If it's a basilisk we're up against, there's only one person that could help us stop it.
But before I could ask Professor Lockhart for help, I need to search for Ron. I found her wondering. I run towards him.
"Ron!" I said. He turn to look at me. I show him the paper. "What's that?" He said. "It's in Y/N's hand... she's giving us a clue. It's a basilisk we're up against. We need help..." I said. "Okay... but who could help us?" He said. "Professor Lockhart..." I said. He nods his head. Then we turn around and starts running to try and find Professor Lockhart.
