Chapter 97

Previously on Chapter 96

"I... I promise..." I said. "Thank you... and goodbye" I said. "Goodbye... Draco... I hope you'll find whatever you're looking for" he said. I give him a nod, smiling. "You too, Harry..." I said. I give him a short hug and pull away. Then I turn around and walks away. Away from Y/N's life... away from the girl I love dearly.

Goodbye, Y/N... I'll always love you

Y/N P.O.V

I wake up to an empty bed. I sit up and look around in confusion. I stand up and walk out of my side of the room.

I enter the living space. Harry, Ron and Hermione is gathering there. They seem to be talking. No... they are arguing about something. I can make out a few words; "Draco" "left" "Y/N" "upset" is all I can hear.

They stop arguing once they notice me near them. I look at them in confusion. I walk towards them and take a seat next to Harry. Who looks worried and a little tense.

"What's going on? Has anyone seen Draco?" I said. I was met with silence. Neither of them say a thing. I look at them in confusion. I look at them one by one. They're all avoiding eye contact with me.

"Harry? Ron? Hermione?" I said. Still neither of them said a thing. "Well? Why aren't any of you answering me? Where is he? Where's Draco??" I asked again. I stand up and turn to look at them. "Why aren't you answering me?! Would one of you answer me??" I yelled.

"He left, Y/N..." Harry finally said. "W-What? W-Why... when?" I said, not wanting to believe what he said. "Last night... he woke me up. He told me that he wants to leave" he said. I shake my head. "No... y-you're lying, r-right?" I said. But the look on his face told me that he isn't.

I shake my head as tears streams down my cheeks. "N-No... he c-can't leave me..." I said. I drop on my knees and starts to cry. Harry gets up and kneels down next to me.

He tries to hold me, but I push him away. I stand up and grab my bag. Just as I was about to walk away, I feel a hand grabs my wrist. I turn my head to see Harry.

"Let me go, Harry!" I said. "What are you trying to do, Y/N?" He said. "What does it looks like?! I'm going to look for Draco..." I said, I try to remove his hand but he tightens his grip around my wrist.

"He left last night! He can apparate too! What makes you think you can find him?" He said. "I don't care! It's your fault! Why did you let him leave?!" I yelled angrily at him.

"I tried talking him out of it! I remind him that it's going to make you upset! The look in his eyes told me how hard it is for him too..." he said. "If it's hard for him... why did he leave me?" I said. "He said he have no choice, Y/N... he's one of them..." he said. I just stare at him. Draco's a Death-eater. I know that for sure. But it wasn't his choice... he didn't want to be one of them.

I shake my head. "I'm going after him... even if it kills me!" I said, yanking my hand out of his grip. I turn around, but he grabs me by giving me a back hug. I struggle to get out of his grip.

"Don't go... we need you, Y/N..." he said. "And I need him... I've lost Cedric. I don't want to lose him too... I can't..." I cried out. I keep trying to struggle to get out of his grip. "We will try everything we can to get him back, Y/N" Hermione said, as she stands in front me. I broke down into more tears.

I can feel myself collapsing, Harry cradle me in his arms.

I start screaming at top of my lungs. I feel a bunch of emotions building up within me. Mostly the feeling of betrayal, frustration and sadness.

"Why did you leave, Draco? I thought you loved me! You're a liar?!" I screamed. Harry holds me closer as I turn my body and lean my head against his chest. I clutch onto his shirt.

Harry P.O.V

Y/N keeps crying in my arms. I can almost feel how broken she is. I should have tried harder to stop him from leaving. As much as I want to be with her. Her heart is just not for me. It's for Draco.

Her screams eventually come to a stop. She fall limp in my arms. I turn my head to look at Hermione and Ron. They are looking at her in sadness.

Time-skip

Y/N is still unconscious. So I have to carry her on my back. We start to walk again to the direction that will lead us to Hogwarts.

Hermione walks next to me. She looks at me with a sad expression. "She's really upset..." she said. I let out a sigh as I glance at Y/N. Her breathing is slow and steady as she sleeps with her chin resting on my shoulder.

"I should have tried harder to convince him not to leave..." I said. "It's not your fault... you tried" Ron said. "Ron's right, Harry..." Hermione said. I just sigh again.

After a while of walking. We finally made it there. I remind the others to be quiet, so we won't get caught by any of them. Hermione walks in front of us, so she could keep a look out.

We come to stop in front of a painting. I can see a person walking in it. Then the painting moves open. My eyes widened when I realize who it is. "Neville!" I said.

"Shh!" Hermione said, gesturing to Y/N who's move slightly. I froze slightly. I let out a sigh of relief when she didn't wake up.

"What happened to her?" Neville asked, looking at Y/N. "It's a long story... but she's not her best state right now. Draco left her..." I said. "Oh..." he said. He looks behind him.

"Come in... we need to hide you guys before they start to notice your presence..." he said, gesturing us to follow him. I nod my head and adjust Y/N so she won't fall of my back. Then I walk inside with the other two following close behind me.

He leads me to a room. I gently place Y/N down on a soft cushion. I take off my jacket and drape it over her body. "Draco... don't leave me..." she said, in her sleeping state. I notice a tear slip out of her eye. I place my thumb on her cheek, gently wiping away her tear.

"I'm sorry, Y/N... I promise I'll bring him back or I will be the one to make you happy... I love you, Y/N..." I said softly. I lean down and place a soft kiss on her forehead.
