"I'm just kidding!" He said, hugging Cedric. Cedric just laugh nervously, while hugging Uncle Macon awkwardly. I just giggle at their mini interaction.

-A Sleepless Night-

Y/N P.O.V

I gently hold Cedric's hand as we head inside. I feel his hand slightly shaking in mine. I turn to look at him. "Are you still nervous?" I asked. "A little..." he said. I just let out a giggle and give his hand a soft squeeze to comfort him.

It was now dinner time. Cedric sits next to me as the rest of my family filled the other chairs. Across from me sat Uncle Macon. He wave a hand and food starts flying in from all direction.

"Wow..." Cedric said, looking at the food in awe. I let out a giggle. "Better get used to it, Ced..." I said. "I've never seen anything like it..." he said, turning to look at me. "My family are a bit different from others. We are able to use magic without wands. However, they need to use something like a magical jewelries..." I said.

"My uncle Balthazar right here... uses a ring" I said, gesturing towards the man next to my uncle. I keep telling him what they use as their source of magic. He looks around at everyone, before looking at me.

"What about you, Y/N? What is your instrument?" He said. I turn to look at the others. They nod their heads, letting me know it's okay to tell him. I turn to look at him once again.

"Nothing..." I said. "Nothing? Then... how?" He said, looking at me in confusion. "That's the thing, Cedric. I'm the most different one..." I said. "Like... how?" He said. "Uhh..." I start, not really knowing how to tell him.

"She's the Prime Merlin... the true descendant of magic..." Uncle Macon. His eyes widened slightly as he looks at me in shock. I just smile nervously. "Y/N... why didn't you tell me about this?" He said. "I'm worried how you might react. The others aside from you, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco. They've all been treating me like celebrity. I never have privacy in my life. But when I finally get to experience it with you guys. I don't want it to change. I just wanna be normal..." I said. Uncle Balthazar just smile softly at what I said. He keeps saying how I remind him with Veronica.

Before me there was another person who's the Prime Merlin, he goes by the name David Stutler. Uncle Balthazar was his teacher. David died years ago and I came as the next Prime Merlin.

Uncle Balthazar was in love with Veronica. It seems that she was just like me. She wanted nothing but to be normal, just like I do. That's why Uncle Balthazar grew quite fond of me.

Uncle Balthazar is not exactly related to my family. He's just a family friend. He's Uncle Macon's best friend. He's also been helping me in controlling the magic. The magic with the curse going on.

He's doing everything he could in trying to keep me as Light Caster. But of course, we all know it's far more complicated than that. As his magic came from Merlin. The wizard that came after us. After the curse occurs in my family line.

Cedric just stare at me. "Are you mad at me, Ced?" I asked while looking at him in sadness. He seems to snap out of it. "What? Mad? No... of course not... I understand your position, Y/N. I'm not mad... I'm in awe. You really are amazing. I'm so happy that I'm the one with the honor to call you mine..." he said. I blush deep shade of red hearing what he said.

He just laugh and leans over to place a soft kiss on my cheek. This makes me blush harder. I turn my head to look at my family. I turn to look at Cedric. I lean over to him.

"You're being quite bold, don't you think?" I said. He looks at me in confusion. I gesture my family with my eyes. He seems gets the picture when I said that and blush as he just remember we're not alone. He turns to look at my family with a flustered face.

"S-Sorry... I d-didn't meant to d-do that in front of y-you..." he stuttered out. Uncle Macon just let out a chuckle. "No worries... you two are in love and I'm happy to know that my niece have found someone who's true to her..." he said, making Cedric smile at him. He turns me and place his hand on top of mine. I just smile softly at his loving gesture. I entwine our hands together, while smiling brightly at him.

Time-skip

It's night time. I make my way to my room right after showing Cedric the room he'll be staying in. I change my clothes into pajamas and lay on my bed. I close my eyes, letting myself drift off to sleep.

Dream

"Y/N! Run!! Hurry! Get out of here! Leave now!!" I heard someone yelled out. We appear to be running as the person clutch onto my hand. I recognize his black view. It's Cedric. But why are we running away? WHO are we trying to run away from?

Suddenly his hand slips out of mine by an invisible force, knocking both of us. I land on the ground and groan. I look around and my eyes widened. That is when I realize where we are. We are at Hogwarts or what remains of it. Broken buildings and debris are scattered around the place.

Cedric is laying next to me. He have injuries all over his body. One specific wound is still bleeding. I place my hand on top of the wound to try to stop his blood from draining out of him. "Cedric..." I said. He opens his eyes and looks weakly at me.

"Y/N... you have to run..." he said. I shake my head at his request. "No... I'm not leaving you!" I said. He lift his hand and place it on my cheek. "Just go... I'm not gonna make it..." he said. I shake my head. "No, don't say that. I manage to save you once. I'm going to save you again..." I said. "Nothing ever happened twice... go... don't forget about me... I love you..." he said.

Suddenly a green light appear. It hits Cedric. I just sit there, watching in complete horror as he slowly turns into ash. That's when I feel something in me snap.

I can feel myself going Dark

"No!!" I yelled, sitting up. I breathe heavily, trying to calm myself. 'What was that?' I thought to myself. I run my hand through my hair.

I hear feel a presence in my room with me. I turn my head to the direction. My eyes widened when I see who's standing there. "Hello, Y/N..." she said, with a small smile on her face. No way...
