Chapter 57

Eventually, introduce a woman by the name Dolores Umbridge. Professor Umbridge will be our teacher for the Defense Against the Dark Arts. But one look at her... I can already tell that she's a bad news and I don't even have to read her mind for it. Oh well... I just hope nothing bad will happen this year.

Y/N P.O.V

"Y/N, wake up!" Someone said. I open my eye to see Hermione. "What?" I said. "We have class and it is our first day. We don't wanna be late" she said. I nod my head. I reach out and grab my eyepatch. I cover my right eye and stand up.

I make sure Hermione didn't see the tattoo around my neck. I quickly drape my towel across my neck and make sure it cover the tattoo. Then I make my way to the washroom for a shower.

I relax under the warmth of the water. I wince a little when my neck starts to act up. But it didn't hurt as much. I let out a sigh in frustration. What should I do about this stupid curse? How do I end it? I can't and won't hurt Cedric.

I relax a little when the ache stops. I quickly rinse all the soap from my body and put on my bathrobe. I step out of the cubicle and stand in front of the mirror. The tattoo on my neck is very visible. It won't take people long to notice them. That's why I have to wear a scarf to cover it up.

I let out a sigh and walk out of the washroom. I make my way to the bedroom and change into my school robe, not forgetting to add a scarf around my neck to cover the stupid cursed tattoo. After I make sure I have everything I need for the day, I make my way out of Gryffindor common room.

I do notice that I've been spending more time as a Gryffindor more than Slytherin. I think I have to stay in Slytherin house as well... to be fair. I mean... the sorting hat did sort me into both houses. So it's only fair if I spend some time there as well.

I make my way to the Dining Hall. I take a seat next to Harry. "Morning..." I said. "Good morning, Y/N" he said. The other two just smiles at me, making me smile back at them.

"Y/N..." I hear someone said. I turn my head to see my boyfriend. "Hello Cedric..." I said. "Hello to you too, love" he said, leaning down to place a soft kiss on my forehead. I smile at him. Then he wave at me and walk towards the Hufflepuff table to sit with his friends.

"So... how's your relationship with Cedric so far?" I hear Ron said. I turn to look at him. "We've been great..." I said. "Cool... it's rare for people to have a relationship without problem..." he said. I bit my lips when he said that.

He's wrong... there is a problem. I have been cursed just because I want to protect someone I love. Now I'm going to live with this stupid cursed tattoo that would start hurting out of no where. The pain from it is unbearably painful.

"Hey Y/N... you okay?" Harry asked, waving a hand in front of my face. "Huh? Oh yeah... I'm fine" I said. "Are you sure?" He said, looking worried. "100%..." I said, smiling at him. He just stare at me and nod his head, though I can tell that he's not convinced.

Harry P.O.V

I know she said she's okay, but some part of me have a feeling that she's lying. I have a feeling that she's hiding something from us. But what?

I glance take a at her. She's wearing a scarf and it's not even cold. Whatever she's trying to hide, it has to be in her neck. I wanna ask her. But I don't want to make her feel pressured.

I let out a sigh. Guess I'll just have to wait for her to talk about it on her own. I'm not going to force it out of her.

Time-skip

Y/N P.O.V

We are now in DADA class. I'm sitting next to Harry as I wait for Professor Umbridge to enter the room. I place my chin on the palm of my hand. She sure is taking her time.

Soon the door to the class opens and Professor walks in with her all pink outfit. Sheesh... she's too pink for my liking. It's not that I hate the color pink. It's just I have never met anyone that dressed up so pink for as long as I've lived! Why don't she just paint her hair pink if she loves pink so much.

Professor Umbridge starts talking. She claims that practical is useless. She flicked her wand and books starts floating towards us. I wait for mine to come. Which didn't take that long.

"There's no practical..." Harry said. "I find practical is a waste of time. So we'll have you learn magic in the most danger-free way..." she said, in her giggly voice. Sheesh... stop giggling already.

"But what if someone tries to attack us?" Harry said. I can hear the annoyance in his face. "Who would want to attack kids like yourself?" She said. "Uhh... I don't know. Voldemort, maybe??" He said. "So you are saying... that the Dark Wizard have become big once again?" She said. "He IS back! I fought him! Cedric almost died because of him!" Harry yelled. "That is a lie!!" She yelled. Okay... I've had it with her!

I slam my hands into the desk and stand up angrily. "No, he's not lying! I created the protection charm so Cedric could be safe! You can go on ahead and ask him if you have any doubt!" I said. "He's been brain washed, that's for sure! The tournament must have caused some damage on his head" she said, looking as if she's about to blow up. How DARE she!!

"Just because you weren't there, Professor. Doesn't mean it's a lie! You're being in denial! You're being delusional!! You're not worthy of being a professor. You are NOTHING but a bloody coward!" I yelled, no longer able to control my anger. The class grew silent at my outburst. Professor Umbridge glares at me. I can tell she's furious because of what I said. But I couldn't careless.

"Enough! For those who wish to speak should raise their hands first!!" She yelled. I clench my hands into tight fists. I was about to say something else, when I feel a hand on mine. I turn my head to see Harry looking at me. I let out a sigh, trying to calm myself and sit down.

"Both you and Mr. Potter over here will be coming to detention. I'll see you after class!" She said. I just roll my eyes at what she said. I was right when I said she will be a nightmare. She's even worse than that! This year will go badly... I can feel it.
