"Is there something wrong?" My dad asked. I turn to look at him and shake my head, while faking a smile. He nods his head and focus on the road. I just turn my head to look out the window as a tear escape my eye.

Y/N P.O.V
I'm sitting next to Cedric. I have my back against his chest, while I sit side ways as I read a book. He have his arms wrapped securely around my waist, making me feel safe and secure to be in his loving embrace. I love being in his arms so much. It makes me feel like home.

I can feel his hand running through my hair as I keep reading. I can feel his eyes on me from time to time.
"Won't you feel bored?" I said, after a moment of silence. "No... I won't ever feel bored with you..." he said. I blush and keep reading, trying my best to hide the redness on my cheeks. But I hear Cedric letting out a chuckle.
"You do realize that your back is leaning against my chest, right? I can literally feel your heart beating faster..." he said. I let out a groan and bury my face into the book I have in my hands. My action make Cedric laughs even more.
"Aweee... my baby is getting shy..." he said. I roll my eyes at him. I place a bookmark to the current page and close it. I turn to look at him and he pulls me to his lap.
"You just love to tease me..." I said. "I can't help it... you're too cute..." he said, smiling at me. I roll my eyes again. "Flirty much?" I said. "Only for you..." he said, chuckling. "Good... don't you dare act flirty to other girls..." I said. "Oooh~ getting possessive now, are we?" He said, smirking at me. "Of course! You're mine, Ced" I said. "Yes... and you're mine..." he said, in a soft tone as he leans closer to my face. I smirk and pulls away before he could place a kiss on my lips.
I get off his lap, making him groan. "Oh come on! I was just about to kiss you!" He whined. "Nope... you are gonna have to catch me first..." I said, sticking my tongue out at him. "Oh game on!" He said. I let out a yelp and start running away, with him hot on my heels.
Since Cedric have longer legs than I am, he catch up to me fast. I yelp when he picks me up and throw me over his shoulder. He lets out a laugh, while I hang upside down on his shoulder.
"Cedric, put me down! I'm getting dizzy. My blood circulation is going to my head!" I said. "Promise you'll give me a kiss first?" He said. "Okay! Promise. Now put me down... please?" I said. He gently place me back on my feet. He keeps me in his arms. I wrap my arms around his neck and place my lips close to his. But at the last moment, I turn my head and kiss his cheek instead.
He blinks in surprise. "What? You said to give you a kiss and I did. You don't specifically said I have to kiss you on the lips, do you?" I said, looking at him with a raised eyebrow. "No fair..." he said, pouting at me. I let out a giggle. "I'm just kidding, Ced..." I said. I place a soft and passionate kiss against his lips. He smiles into the kiss and kisses me back.
He pulls away and leans his forehead against mine. I smile as I close my eyes. "I love you, Y/N..." he said. I open my eyes and smile at him. "I love you too..." I said.
"Shall we go somewhere? Maybe we can have some picnic?" He said. "Sure... I'd love that..." I said. "Well it's a date then" he said, grinning at me. I blush after the word "date" escape his lips. This will be our very first date... and I'm totally down for it.
"Sure... lets call it a date..." I said, making his smile grows. "Get ready... I'll prepare what we need" he said. "I can help you..." I said. "No... I'll handle it" he said, in a stern voice. He leaves no room for me to argue with him. I let out a sigh and nod my head. He peck my lips and pulls away. I smile at him and turn around, making my way to guest room I've stayed in since I got here.
I walk towards the wardrobe and try to pick a cute outfit for our date. "Hmm... what to wear... what to wear?" I said softly to myself, while going through the clothes.
"Ah... this one will do! It's cute and cozy at the same time. Yupp! This is perfect!" I said, grinning happily as I look at my choice of outfit.

After I made sure I look good. I grab my purse and walk out of the room.
"Cedric?" I called out. "I'm here!" He said, his voice is coming from the kitchen. I make my way there to see he's currently packing some food into the picnic basket.
I enter the kitchen. He turns to look at me and just stare. "What?" I said. "Nothing... you look so cute right now..." he said, smiling at me. I smile shyly at him. I walk forward and stand next to him.
"I'll do the rest and you get ready..." I said. "No... I'm almost done. Just sit back and relax" he said. I pout at him. He bit his lips as his cheeks turns pink. I bit back a smirk, knowing it's his weakness.
"Please?" I said. "F-Fine..." he said. I grin at him and kisses his cheek. He turns around and walks out of the kitchen to get ready. I giggle to myself and start packing the rest of the food.
Time-skip
We are now walking along the park, trying to look for the perfect spot. Cedric holds my hand while the other is holding the basket. I have a blanket in my free hand.
"That spot looks good" I said, pointing towards a certain direction. He turns his head to where I'm pointing and nods his head in agreement. "Yeah... that's a perfect spot. Let's go..." he said. Then we make our way there.
Cedric place the basket on the ground and help me lay out the blanket. I take off my sandals and walk on the blanket. Cedric place the basket in front of us and take a seat on the blanket. He looks up at me and lift his hand. I place my hand on top of his. He tug me, pulling me down until I'm sitting on his lap. I let out a yelp at his sudden movements, making him chuckle at my reaction.
He turns to the picnic basket and take out some of the food. Which consists of some sandwiches and f/f. "Wow... you packed my fav food..." I said. "Of course I do... I want my girl to be happy..." he said, nudging his nose with mine. I blush at his gesture. We start to eat, while chatting about anything that came to our minds.
A Few Moments Later
Cedric is now laying his head on my lap. I smile as I caress his hair softly. I start to hum a soft melody, making him sigh in content as he feels comfortable. This makes me smile happily.
My mind eventually went back to the tattoo around my neck. I lift my hand and place it on the fabric of my scarf. The tattoo starts to ache a little. I thought back to what Amma told me. In order for me to free myself from this curse... I have to kill Cedric. There is no way I'm gonna do that. I love him... I can't even thought of hurting him. There must be another way.
I look down at Cedric as I hear a soft snore coming from his mouth. "I love you, Ced... I would never hurt you..." I said. A lone tear escape my eye. I wipe it away and try to stop myself from crying.
