Chapter 3

(HowlerPOV)
"I'm so sorry I'm late!" Ashley exclaims as she walks into the dorm.
"It's fine." Danyka laughs as she jumps down from her bunk.
"This one fell asleep during the assembly." She says elbowing me. "I'm Danyka by the way."
"Hey! I had a long trip!" I whine.
"Suuuuuuuuurrrrrreeee." She laughs.
"So anyway." I cut in trying to change the subject. There was the sound of a small bell. "What's that?" I ask.
"Oh, that's the bell for the next period. If you look in the package that you found on your bed, you should find a list of your classes in order." Danyka explains as she pulls a crisp white paper from the package. I quickly pull out my paper and scan the page. History, science, English, math, Trance, Dub...... Wait TRANCE!?
"We have classes dedicated to the types of music we want to learn?!?!" I practically scream. Valerie and Ashley look up from their papers, a mix of awe and excitement on the faces.
"Of course!" Danyka laughs. "Now get your stuff together so we can get going."
"I have Trance with Au5." I say excitedly.
"Let's see." Ashley says scanning here paper. She gasps. "I HAVE DRUMSTEP WITH ROOKIT!!!"
"Lucky! I have Electro with Astronaut." Valerie says kind of dejectedly.
"Don't worry. He's Great!" Danyka exclaims clapping her on the back.
"Now go. Run to your classes!!!" Danyka yells slamming the door open.
(JoshPOV)
I was walking down the hallway marked "boys dorm", every now and then I'd consult the piece of paper the principal handed to me on my way from the auditorium. Howler seemed pretty nice, but looks can be deceiving. I learned that the hard way at my old school. I sigh. As I near the door of my dorm, my new home, I hear extremely off key singing "AN ATOM SPLITS TO CREATE A DISTRACTION EVERY SINGLE A COUNTERFEIT, A MISDIRECTION! BUT BABY....." As I open the door, they stop and turn toward me. I almost burst out laughing. The looks on their faces are priceless!
"Oops. I'm sorry. Did I interrupt anything?" A guy with ginger hair gets up and shakes my hand.
"Nah you're good. I'm Tut Tut Child by the way. The dork to my right is Nitro Fun and the dork to my right is Droptek." "Hey!" They say together. My jaw drops just a little. I going to be living with some of my favorite Monstercat artists EVER!!!
"Don't look so surprised." Nitro exclaimed clapping me on the back. I blush slightly. What a great first impression, Josh, real smooth. A small bell rang down the corridor.
"Welp time to go." Droptek says as he starts gathering his stuff for his classes.
"What are your first to genre classes, Josh?" He asks not looking up from his bag.
"I have Dubstep then Electro."
"Sweet! You'll be with the Child and I then." Droptek exclaims.
"We better get going if we want to make it on time then." Nitro chided.
"Fine." I sigh heading for the door.
"LET'S GO!!" Drop shouts as he runs out the door.

As I follow the guys out the door, someone grabs me by the collar and pulls me back to face them. The first I noticed was the smart black suit and top hat. Crud, what does Muzzy want now?
"Hey nerd." He sneers. I notice Expia and the Nerds behind him and realize there's no escape for me .
"What do you want?" I say, trying to wriggle free of his iron grip.
"I just want to repay a debt that's owed." He says grinning evilly. I gulp. I know exactly what's in store for me. I shut my eyes and wait. I didn't have long. I feel a burning pain in my nose and feel blood trickling down my face. I know that Muzzy's punches always come in pairs so I waited. The next punch was directed at my left eye and it starts to swell almost immediately. I feel my body crumple to the floor. The pain is excruciating. Blackness starts to overcome my vision as I loose consciousness.
