Chapter 4

I wake up with a start, momentarily forgetting where I am. I almost start crying as I remember what happened, Muzzy my injuries. I reach up to wipe the tears and blood off my face, then realize that my glasses are gone. NO!! Muzzy took the only thing that mattered to me, my sight. Without them I can't make music or even function as a human being. My anger gives way to complete despair. I curl up in a ball and cry. I hear quick footsteps coming down the hall and I try to become one with the wall. I hear the footsteps stop in front of me and a hand lift my chin up. I hear a small gasp and feel the sensation of being picked up. Whoever it was, they were struggling under my weight. I hear the sound of the squeaky hospital ward door and am laid on a bed.
"I'll take from here." The nurse says. I feel a light kiss on my forehead, then the receding footsteps of whoever helped me.

I was walking to Electronic with Stephen Walking when I hear my name being called.
"Danyka, Danyka!" I turn to see Droptek, Nitro Fun and another guy I didn't recognize, sprinting towards me.
"HAVEYOUSEENTUTTUTCHILDANYWHERE?! ITSNOTLIKEHIMTOSKIPCLASSESLIKETHIS!!! HELP!" Nitro was yelling in my face.
"Hold up. What?"
Droptek stepped forward. "Translation, Tut Tut Child wasn't in class, it's not like him to skip classes and lastly, we were wondering if you knew where he is." My stomach dropped. I had a feeling his absence had something to do with Muzzy. I stalk down the hallway looking for Muzzy and as I catch sight of him, he's doing something I've never seen him do. He was laughing, a genuine laugh not one of his fake snickers. He was with a girl from his grade. She was pretty and she had gorgeous hair. It was blue at the tips and pink at the bangs.
"Hey you!" I yell. Muzzy turns, giving me a confused look. He wasn't used to people talking to him like this. I walk up to him. 'I wish I wore heels today.' I think to my self as I look up in to his dark grey eyes.
"Where's Tut Tut Child?" I ask, trying not betray the fear I was feeling.
"Last time I saw him he was in the hallway leading to the boy's dorms." The bell for fourth period rang and I turned to leave.
"Why do you care so much?!" Muzzy yelled. I feel my cheeks grow warm but keep walking.
As I entered the class, I realized that I'd have to fake sickness to get out Stephen's class. I take a deep breath and raise my hand.
"Yes Danyka?"
"I'm not feeling too good. Can I go to the nurse?" I ask feeling a twinge of guilt about lying to one of my favorite teachers in the whole school.
"Of course! Get out of here before you get anyone else sick." He exclaims. I walk out of the class and pick up the pace as I get into the hallway.
As I near where Muzzy said Nick(TutTutChild) would be, a sense of dread starts to build up inside of me. I see a small lump by the wall and take a deep breath. I crouch down next to him and raise his chin up so I could see the extent of his injuries. I gasp and bite back tears. His left eye was black and swollen and his nose looked broken. Anger swelled up inside of me and my hatred for Muzzy grew. "If he dares to lay a finger on my baby again, I swear to god I will personally choke him with a spoon." I blush as I realize that he might have heard me. I pull him onto my back in a piggyback like manner and head to the nurse's ward. I really hope I don't run into anyone because it would just be awkward. As I enter the ward, I make a beeline for the nearest cot and set him lightly down.
"I'll take it from here." The nurse says as she takes out a roll of bandage and an ice pack. I give Nick a quick kiss on the forehead and walk back to class.
"I'm glad you're feeling better." Stephen exclaims as I walk back into class. 'If only you knew.' I think to myself.
