Chapter 13 (Hehehe Unlucky)

While Danyka, Valerie, Ashley and I were waiting for Howler to get out of the shower, I taught the younger two simple vocals. My phone vibrated in my pocket, interrupting the mini lesson. It was Muzzy. I quickly excuse myself and pick up the phone.
"What do you want?" I bark, not having the mental capacity for his horrible jokes
"Come meet me in the dinning hall in five minutes and nobody gets hurt." He growls.
"I swear if you-"
"Not Tut Tut Child, someone closer to you." I feel my stomach drop. No not Josh, please no.
"Fine." I grumble, hanging up the phone and grabbing my hoodie.
"I'll be back in a flash, guys!" I yell as I shut the dorm door. I was still soaking wet, leaving little puddles as I walk down the hall. 'I'm a walking hazard.' I think to myself as I take the steps two at a time. I check my watch. 'Crap! I only have two more minutes!' I take the stairs three at a time, and as I near the bottom loose my footing. The last thing I remember was hearing footsteps before the world went black.
(JoshPOV)
"Puppet, what's going on?" I yell as we sprint down the hall towards the flight of stairs leading to the girls dorms.
"Laura slipped on the steps and hit her head. She bleeding heavily from her head and we think her arm might be broken." Puppet explains as near the stairs.
"Why me. I mean why didn't you get the nurse?" I ask as I kneel down to assess her wounds. The gash on her head was bleeding a lot more than I first thought. I felt like I was going to throw up. I'm not that great with blood.
"The nurse was too far and I thought of you because you said that you're studying to become a nurse on the side." It was true. If I couldn't become a producer, I'd want to become a nurse. I yank off my tie and wrap it around her head, trying to stem the blood flow. A small crowd had gathered around us. I take a deep breath.
"Everyone go about your normal business, she'll be fine." I said that more for myself then the crowd.
"Puppet call 911, Muzzy get the nurse." I turn towards Muzzy. "I said GET THE NURSE!" That sent him running down the hallway. I rip off the bottom of my shirt and wrap it around her arm in a makeshift sling. When the ambulance arrives, I quietly excuse myself and walk back to the dorm.
"Hey Josh, you okay?" G230 asks as I walk into the dorm.
"What happened?" Drop asks noticing the blood on my hands, her blood. I feel a hand on my shoulder. It was Nick.
"I know you aren't okay. If you want to talk, I'm here." He wraps me in a hug. He was like a brother to me, they all are. There was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it!" Nitro yells opening the door. It was Principal Monstercat.
"I just wanted to stop by and say that, thanks to your quick thinking Josh, Laura will be fine. Tomorrow during lunch, you are all invited to visit her in the hospital."
"Okay. Thank you sir." Nick says.
"Oh and Josh?" Monstercat asks.
"Yeah?" I answer quietly.
"Are you sure you're all right?" I nod my head.
"Okay. Goodnight guys."
