Chapter 17

As I sit down with Tristam, Braken, Rich and Razihel, Monstercat walks on stage and calls for attention.
"Congratulations to Rich Edwards and Danyka Nadeau on We Are." The loud cheers echoed of the walls.
"Second, Let's give a warm welcome to our new students Piper, Glitch and Gwen." Gwen takes a comical bow and I smile.
"Third, House Dubstep and Electro classes will have subs for the rest of the day. So, please be on your best behavior. Lastly, the exchange students from Proximity will be arriving this afternoon at free period. They are..." He consults a slip of paper in his hand. "Sin Cole and the Inducers. That is all for announcements. Have a good rest of your day." As soon as he leaves the stage the room erupts into chatter.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! Sin Cole is AMAZING!" Tristam yells from across the table.
"I wonder who the subs are going to be?" Rich whispers. He definitely the most soft spoken of the group of us.
"It's probably going to be one of the elective teachers." Razihel says, getting up.
"Eh, you're probably right." I answer with a sigh.
"Yo, Varien!" I turn and see Mike and Alex carrying their trays.
"Hey guys!"
"Sooo, got any ideas on who's gonna be in TBT?" Alex asks as we sit down.
"I'm putting my money on Throttle and Insan3lik3." I answer.
"Putting your money on the oldies, are you?" Mike asks. I nod my head.
"I'm surprised Throttle hasn't won a TBT yet. His music is great." I say taking a bite of my salad. After lunch I head off to House with Overwerk, or rather the sub. As I walk into the class, I couldn't believe me eyes. Our sub is Avicii?!?
"Good morning, class. Today we will be learning proper on-the-floor beats." It was kind of hard to understand him since he had such a thick Swedish accent but the class was amazing overall.

After lunch of hamburgers and salad I head to Electro with Laszlo. 'I wonder who the sub is?" I think to myself as I walk down the hall.
"Hey Josh!" I turn to see Laura jogging down the hall towards me.
"I've come to join you in Electro." I wince when I see her arm in a cast.
"Ok! We usually have Laszlo as teacher, but I don't have a clue who's subbing." I explain as we head to room 10.
"After you madam." I say holding open the door for her. She giggles and I feel my cheeks warm. As we enter the classroom, I hear two familiar voices. I-it couldn't be...
"HOLY CRAP LAURA!" I couldn't help it.
"IT'S KNIFE PARTY!!" I was going into complete fangirl mode and there's nothing Laura could do about it.
"Josh clam down." I take a deep breath. She pushes me lightly towards the front of the class where Rob and Gareth were standing, preparing for the class.
"Um, hi. My friend here is a huge fan of yours and he was wondering if you could you could sign this for him." Once I realize what was on the paper it was too late. It was my super crappy drawing of them that I drew yesterday in Nu Disco.
"Wow, this is amazing." Rob exclaims as he signs the drawing.
"T-thank you!" As we find our seats Laura says,
"See, they loved it."
"Yeah... I guess you're right." I say. Rob calls for attention and we jump into the lesson.

I'm not dead!!! Tests are over and I'm back to normal schedule.
