I was excited to get through third and fourth period. I've heard nothing but good things about team comps from the other artists. I think I'm most excited to kick some a.
"Hey Veenerz!" I turn to see Alex and Mike walking down the hallway towards me.
"Congrats on 'Try This' guys. It's Amazing!" I exclaim as I walk towards Glitch Hop with Falcon Funk.
"Thanks!" Alex yells as I enter the class. As I sit down, I start to feel restless. Hurry up!! I don't want to be here, I wanna be outside competing. I must've nodded off because I was jolted awake by Muzzy shaking me roughly. I rub the sleep out of my eyes.
"Good morning." He sneers shoving me off the chair. I growl and pick up my stuff. I slug him hard in the arm then turn and leave.
At the end of fourth, the intercom buzzes.
"All students report to the auditorium for team comps. Leave all backpacks and all other equipment in the classrooms." I quickly get up and jog to the auditorium. It had been transformed from boring normal school auditorium to a music festival . There were strobe lights on and both principals, Monstercat and Tasty, were on stage blasting music. I instantly recognize the song, 'Try This' by the Nerds. The only seat I could find was next to that stuck up jerk Rebel. I rather stand in the isle way than next to her.
"Hey Veenerz, find a place to stand that's not in the isle way." It was Stephen Walking. I let out a long sigh and begrudgingly stand next to her.

I am super excited for team comps. It been rumored that there are new challenges planned for this week. As I enter the auditorium, Tristam pulls me into a bear hug.
"What are you doing!" I yell. He spins me around so I'm facing him.
"Can I not hug my girlfriend?" He exclaims, pulling me into another hug.
"Awww, you two are adorable!" Danyka yells as she and Tut Tut Child walk by.
"I ship it!" I yell back. I mentally face palm. Really Rebel, that's your best comeback?
"Let's go find a spot. They're filling up fast." He points out two seats towards the front of the auditorium.
"Race ya!" I yell running towards the seats.
"Hey! You didn't give me a chance. I could beat you any day." Tristam exclaims as he jogs up to me.
"We'll see about that." I grumble. The music is really loud and I can barely hear Tristam over 'Try This.' I see Vennerz enter the auditorium and I frown when I realize that the only seat that's open is next to me. As she walks over I inch closer to Tristam.
"Hey loser." She sneers just loud enough for me to hear. Before I had a chance to come up a good comeback, principal Monstercat grabs the mic.
"YOU GUYS READY FOR A GREAT TIME?!?!" He yells into the mic. The room erupts into cheers. Tasty grabs the the mic from Monstercat.
"So we've got a few things planned for you guys this week. Today's competition is DYE WARS!!" Everyone, me included, started cheering at this.

"So we got a few things planned for you guys this week. Today's competition is DYE WARS!!" The whole room erupts into cheering. Howler was standing next to me, Rouge next to her. I got an idea that was probably gonna get me killed. I push her 'lightly' towards Rouge. It worked better than I expected. Instead of her bumping into Rouge, she trips and falls, Rouge catching her.
"I-I'm sorry. I don't know what happened." She says, looking back at me giving me the 'you are so dead' stare.
"I-it's fine." Rouge exclaims.
"For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of playing dye wars, here's how it works. Monstercat is represented by purple dye and Tasty is represented blue dye. The objective of the game is to cover the opposite team in your color dye. The team that puts the most dye on the opposite team wins 100 points towards their school's team." Monstercat explains. That explains why they made us wear white.
"We will meet on the Great Lawn in five minutes. Ready set GO!!"

"We will meet on the Great Lawn in five minutes. Ready set GO!" I take two steps and use my wings to propel me forward. I land lightly in front of the students who were making their way to the door. They were staring at me in awe.
"Didn't you mom ever tell not to stare?" I ask before turning and making my way down the hallway towards the great lawn. I spot three huge trash cans full of purple dye, witch I assume are for us. I grab two water balloons and a cup full of the purple dye. As more students start to grab their 'weapons,' I try to find Rouge, Josh and the rest of the gang. I can't find them anywhere. Oh well, I'll find them sooner or later.
"So are you guys ready or what?!" Tasty yells into the mic.
"YEAH!!"
"3, 2, 1 GOO!!" I take one step forward and get hit in the shoulder, blue dye exploding onto my shirt. I return the favor. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Josh and Laura running through the crowd. Josh was trying his best to shield Laura but was failing miserably. Awwwww. Someone comes up behind me, poring a cup of purple dye down the back of my shirt. I whirl around to see Rouge giving me a smug smile. I splash my cup of dye in his face, turning him purple. I start laughing uncontrollably. As soon as the last of the dye was used, the principals sent us back to our sides to be tallied up.
"We have our results. Go get cleaned up and meet back in the auditorium in half an hour." I fly just above the crowd, looking for Rouge. I spot him chatting with Danyka and The Child. I drop from the air and tackle him.
"Is that always how you say hello?" He grunts.
"Nope. Just when I feel like it." I answer clambering off of him.
"Oh and Danyka , the showers mine."
She groans.
