Chapter 26

My phone started playing Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites by Skrillex and I almost let it play. I was working on a big project featuring Tasha Baxter and I was right in the middle of finishing up the vocals with her. I glance down to see if it was anyone important. It was Laura. She wouldn't call me unless it was life or death.
"I-I'll be right back." I mutter, getting up.
"Yes." I was greeted by a frantic Laura.
"Joshwasgoingtocommitsuicide!" My stomach drops. What?! I hear Rebel's voice in the background.
"Hey Nick." Rebel was on the line now.
"Hey."
"So, umm yeah. Josh took a razor to his wrist but Laura found him before he could do any real damage. Can you bring Glitch with you when you come? Josh isn't responding to anyone else."
"O-of course. I'll see you then." I hang up.
"Hey Tasha, I gotta go. Can we pick this up tomorrow?"
"Yeah. Of course! See you tomorrow." I head off to the gym, where Glitch spends most of his time. He was playing ice hockey with The Nerds and Noisestorm.
"Hey Glitch!" I yell.
"Yeah, Tut?" He glides to a stop in front of me. I roll my eyes. Show off.
"You're needed at the nurse's station. It's about your brother." His face goes white. He pulls on his sneakers and jogs up to me.
"Let's go!"
(GlitchPOV)
Many thoughts were swimming through my head. Who, why, where, how? I feel tears spring forth but I bite them back and turn them to anger. Who ever did this to him was going to get my fist in their face. As we reach the nurse's station, I see Josh curled up in a ball on the floor.
"Hey bro." I sit next to him, resting my head on his shoulder. I knew he was wanting his razor, to cut the pain away but I wasn't going to let him. His right wrist was wrapped in gauze and I feel tears start falling. I quickly get up and leave the room. I couldn't see him like that.
(JoshPOV)[trigger Warning, maybe]
I can't believe I hurt my friends and brother like this. I wanted my razor so bad, just to feel it cut through my skin. I feel someone next to me and I could tell by the shoes that it wasn't Glitch. Someone wraps their arms around me and pulls me into a hug.
"Hey Josh." It was Laura. I feel a new wave of tears threatening to spill.
"It's ok Josh. We're all here for you." I start sobbing again.
"There's a place I imagine, has my escape, where my impression is new and hopeful." Her voice had a calming effect on me and I feel my worries start to fade away.
"Want to stay calm in the eye of the storm....."

I'm sorry these last chapters have been kinda depressing. It reflects my mood at the moment.... It will be back to normal sooon! Excuse the repub, I wanted to add something. The idea is from @.pointlesscensor and the song is Eye of the Storm by Tuttle and I can personally relate with the lyrics. Sorry for the many repubs, it wouldn't update!
