Intrusion...

Adam moved in with me over the weekend. He did not let me out of his sight for once. While in the bathroom, he would make sure I don't lock the door. But I feel more uncomfortable than ever. I mean I don't mind him seeing me naked. We have had sex. But this is just insane.

I wanted him to move in with me. But not like this. This feels like an intrusion.

"Adam, I don't think this is working out. You can't keep this up and I feel suffocated with you monitoring my every move," I confronted him before he slept. Tomorrow he has to go to work. I  am staying home because... Well, because I got fired.

"I can't trust you, Amy. You will take up the blade the moment I am not looking. You are addicted to it and I am gonna make sure that you don't obsess over it. Now I have work tomorrow. Good Night," Adam said and curled up beside me. I stare at the wall for a few minutes before going to sleep myself.

I am in the dark. I have to wake up. No, I can't. Where am I? Who is that?

I see a shadow approaching me. "Who's there?" I call out. No answer. "Hello?" I try again. The figure stops. Suddenly I feel multiple stings on my abdomen. I look down. I am stabbed. Blood spilling. All of a sudden, I am choking. But no one is near me. The shadow is standing somewhat far from me. But I am choking.

I jump out of the bed. My forehead is covered in sweat. My legs are trembling. What the hell just happened?

Adam is not in bed. I check the time. 8.30 Am. I thought. Adam must be getting ready for office. I rub my fingers on my forehead and see Adam step out of the bathroom. His towel was hanging dangerously low on his torso. My eyes widened and he smirked. Of course.

"Get ready!" Adam said, breaking me from my trance. "What?" "Get ready," Adam said again. I scrunched my eyebrows until I realized. I backed away and said," No. I am not going with you." I am not going to his office. I am not a child. "Amy, don't. You know why I am doing this. Get ready!" Adam said. "What? Are you crazy? That is your office. I am NOT going."

Half an hour later, we were driving down to his office. "Look Amy. I am sorry, ok? I know you think I am interfering with everything-" "Yeah, right!" I scoffed interrupting him. He just took a deep breath and continued, "But it's for your benefit. And I am sorry for hitting you. I didn't mean it. You were being stubborn and there was nothing else that I could have done." Yeah, Adam hit me. Well to be precise, he slapped me. I looked away from him and started gazing out of the window.

Minutes later, we arrived the enormous building with GOOGLE plastered on it. Adam drove down to the basement to park his car. After parking we made our way to the reception where Adam reported himself. Soon we entered his office. It was huge. There was a sofa set in one corner and his desk at the other. One wall was completely made of windows and light was penetrating in bulk. I made myself comfortable on the sofa while Adam seated on his desk.

Half day had gone by. I didn't talk to Adam. I am angry at him. He freaking slapped me. But now I am hungry. I just had two toast for breakfast and now it's two in the afternoon. I am still reluctant on talking to him but I have to eat. But his secretary walking in saved me. As soon as she handed Adam the file he wanted, I called her. "Hey Macy. Can you tell me where the cafeteria is? I am so hungry." Adam was looking at me in confusion and irritation. "Um, yeah sure. Come with me," Macy said smiling. "Macy, you can go. I'll take her," Adam suddenly shouted out. I glared at him and he ignored it. Macy shrugged and left. As soon as she was out, I rained on Adam," What the hell? I can go with her. You don't need to be so possessive and suffocating all the time. I promise I won't cut. I don't have anything on me." "You will NOT leave my sight. I don't trust you. You promised you won't do it. Yet, you did it. I am going with you and that's final," Adam said walking towards me. "I am not hungry anymore. I am not going anywhere." I said, calmly. Adam folded his palms in a fist and let out a frustrated sigh. He told Macy to get me some Indian food and he went back to work.

After his day at work, we went back to my apartment and I jumped in bed as soon as we entered. I didn't change, I just slept.

This went on the whole week. I went to his office and came back. He did not let go of me even for a second. Ugh, what's wrong with him? I thought as we drove back home on Friday. At this point, the weekend also seems frustrating.

Go away, Adam.
