It has been a month. We saw Adam a few times. But I never talked to him. The case of Lexi Norton was still in my mind. Harry was back in his apartment. I stayed with him for a week then came back to my house. But I made sure Harry was safe.

"Hey, Harry! Do you need groceries?" I asked Harry. I decided to go to the supermarket since I was out of groceries myself.  "Yeah! Can I get some cereal and bread?" "That's it?" I asked. "Yup," Harry said and cut the call. I went to the supermarket. While looking around the Fridge section, I saw Adam picking up packets of ice. What a great coincidence! I thought. "Throwing a party tonight?" I asked him once we were at the check-out counter. "Um... No. I-I need it to..." Adam thought for a moment, "To store something. Yeah, that's it!"

Adam stuttered. He never stutters unless he is lying. "Shouldn't you be with Harry?" Adam said. "You are coming with me to Harry's!" I demanded and paid my bill quickly. I nearly dragged Adam out of the store. Adam handed the packets to someone who was waiting for him out of the store. He whispered something in the stranger's ear while I unlocked the door and heated the ignition. He then scrambled in the car and we drove off.

"HARRY? Open up, fast!" I pounded on Harry's door. Soon the door opened and Adam and I stepped in. "What is he doing here? What happened?" Harry asked. "What happened to Lexi?" I asked Adam straight forward as soon as Harry closed the door. "Lexi who?" He retorted innocently. Harry settled himself on his couch while I paced around the room. Adam was standing against a wall. "CUT THE CRAP! You know who! Lexi Norton. Your ex. WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?" I shouted. "She died! I told you. Why are you asking me this now?" Adam asked, standing up straight. "Because YOU LIED! You told me she died! Well, Adam Forster, she was murdered. Yeah, after four of her friends were murdered," I confronted him. "Wait! Amy, what are you talking about? Murdered?" Harry asked. Adam backed away.

"How- how did you know?" Adam asked scared. "That means it's true! Did you do it?" I asked again without a glitch. Adam backed away, "What? Are you crazy?" "Why? You accused me of Macy's murder! I am asking you the same thing except I have facts. It is not a coincidence that it happened to your girlfriend TWICE. So... Did you do it?"

Adam looked shocked for a few minutes before a devilish smirk made its way to his lips before the dreaded words came out of his mouth, "Yeah. Yeah, I did. And, gosh you should have heard her! The screams. The shout. The pleading!" I can't believe those words just came out of his mouth. He killed five innocent people. Wait! "S-so, that means y-you killed o-our..." His smirk deepened. Harry came to me and held me. I was shaking. I was hyperventilating. I was panicking. "You killed Lewis?" Harry asked as he held me tightly. To say we were shocked would be an understatement. "In a way! I was with Amy in New Jersey but I asked a friend to help. But the idiot left a clue. Changed the finger, fucking dumbass!" He then rolled his eyes. "Oh, yeah! Those packets of ice I was buying? It was for Lewis's fingers. I was supposed to send them on the day of Harry's accident but, well..." He pointed to Harry's bandaged arm. His eyes held a maniacal glint. It wasn't the Adam who loved me and his friends.

I dropped to the ground as Harry kneeled beside me. "You-You killed MY BROTHER, BASTARD!" Harry said, ran to Adam, and punched him in the face. He stumbled back but regained his posture. "HARRY, NO! We have to tell Kurtz," I choked out. "Oh, baby! You have no proof I just confessed," Adam said as he wiped his bloody nose.

"Well, if you excuse me, I have a finger to parcel!" Adam said and walked out.

Harry came back to me as I screamed and cried the whole night.
