(Madhu's POV)
"Did you call me, Yash?"
"Yeah." He said flatly. "RK wants to talk to you."
"Why?" I said suddenly. I didn't want to see him.
"I don't know. He didn't tell me." He said, staring at the laptop.
"I'm sorry Yash. I don't want to go. Tell your friend that I have no interest in meeting him." I began to leave when Yash spoke up.
"Fine, then kiss your job goodbye." I got angrier.
"Oh! So if I don't meet RK, you'll fire me?!"
"That's not what I meant. RK will kick you out of the company." This was ridiculous.
"Oh really? How?" I said, tapping my foot and arms crossed.
"He owns the company. I'm just working under him. He can fire whoever he wants to."
Great. Now I have to meet that loser. Get moving Madhu.
"Where do I have to meet him?"
"Sitara Studio. My driver will drop you."
I left from there with a hot head. What job did I sign up for? To work or meet a loser superstar everyday? I got in the car and slammed the door shut. The driver looked at me funny.
"What?" I gave him a look.
"Nothing ma'am." He started the car.
(At Sitara Studio...)
"RK sir...shot is ready."
"Okay...I'm coming." Where is Madhubala?
I quickly gave the shot. Everyone applauded as always. The director wanted another one.
"Sorry...PACK UP!" I yelled.
This Madhubala is too much. RK, you are dumb to think she will show up. I waited some more. No appearance.
"Bittuji! Get the car!" I ordered.
"Yes chief." He ran off. I heard some footsteps in the back.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" Then out popped Madhubala.
"Yes...RK's ghost. He died waiting for you." She turned and glared at me, while I waved playfully at her.
She marched over, maintaining her seemingly famous death stare. She stopped in front of me and crossed her arms.
"What do you want?" She said.
"You." I laughed.
"Stop flirting." She kept the same face. "Get to the point."
"I like it. Nice and straightforward." I said, smirking.
"Are you going to talk or can I leave?" She pointed towards the door.
"Okay. You hate Armaan don't you?"
"You called me all the way here to ask the obvious?!"
"Yes. But I have more to say."
"What?"
"Do you you want to make him suffer for what he did to you?" She looked at me, confused.
(Madhu's POV)
Making Armaan suffer....the thought never crossed my mind. I could never think of it.
"What are you thinking, exactly?" I asked, curious. What made RK think of this?
"I too want to make him suffer." Okay.....
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Now he crossed all limits.
"Are you crazy?! What are you thinking?" I stepped back from him.
"I've noticed one thing with this guy. Everytime he sees any of his past girlfriends with another guy, he loses it. Didn't you hear the news? He barged into his current girlfriend's house, drunk, because she dumped him."
"Keeping an eye on him, are you? You're crazy." This guy is officially nuts.
"You have to, to find a weak spot. He dared to come into my house in broad daylight and threatened to ruin me and hurt my family, just because I got chosen over him for a big film?! He's the crazy one!" His hands were balled up into fists.
"I want to see him suffer!" RK barked at me.
"Why are you involving me in this?"
"Because you can help me get my revenge....by pretending to be my girlfriend."
Wow....this was the last thing I had to hear.
"Listen, I don't want any part of this. I have enough problems in my life already." I started towards the entrance.
He instantly grabbed my wrist.
"Are you sure about that, Madhubala?"
I looked at him. Sure, I hated Armaan, and somewhere deep down, I too wanted to teach him a lesson. But some part of me didn't accept it.
"I'm sure. Now let me go." He did as I told, now flashing a sinister smirk on his face.
"Even if I promise to get you your identity back?" He said.
