(Madhu's POV)
(1 month later)

The halls and stairways were all decorated with bright reds and pinks, and everyone rushed about to get things ready in time for the wedding. My wedding.

The day was finally here, when RK and I would become husband and wife. Malik had left no stone unturned in preparing, and Trishna couldn't get enough of the celebration. My job was to sit and do nothing. No one would let me even lift a basket, as if it were my baby shower and not my wedding. I got bored really easily, my only real job being that I had to partake in all kinds of rituals. RK couldn't even see me from today until the wedding. I just had my haldi ceremony.

"I'm going to sneak in tonight." He teased over the phone. We were reduced to just talking over the phone. I missed him already, but I couldn't let him sneak in. Malik would get upset.

"No RK! I don't want to upset anyone." I could hear him sign on the other end.

"Well you are. Me." He took a brief pause. "I'm coming, and that's final."

"RK, no-" He hung up, leaving me in a frenzy about how to keep him concealed from the others. I sighed. I would be doing all the work and he would have the fun in the end.

I peeked outside my room, finding Malik and Trishna running about, calling guests, caterers, decorators, and the everyone else in between. RK would have to climb in through the window, and enter through the back lane. Luckily, that back lane was always empty. I closed the door to my room and sat on the bed, the window wide open. A few minutes passed before I heard something hit the window sill. I turned around to find a ladder, and RK climbing it up to my room. I gave him a solid glare as he continued up. It did nothing to faze him from his goal.

"Go away," I said. He simply smirked and continued up. "RK, please!"

He refused to listen. I checked the door to make sure no one was trying to get in. Both were busy in preparations, and weren't even in the room anymore. I took a sigh of relief.

RK had succeeded in getting in while my back was turned, and he pulled me towards him, giving me a deep and hungry kiss. I couldn't resist, and kissed him back as hard as he was. We both fell on the bed as our feet backtracked. RK rolled so that he was towering over me. I tried to get up but he refused to let me go.

"RK, Malik will-" He covered my mouth with his hand, shaking his head.

"This is not fair Madhu!"

I moved his hand aside. "What's not fair? We're still getting married."

"Not that. It's the fact that I can't see you till the wedding. You know I'm impatient."

"No kidding." I rolled my eyes. "Fine. You can stay, but only for ten minutes."

This brought a smile to his face. "That's all I need." He silenced me with a kiss again, his hand tangling itself in my hair.

"Just a few more days," he said in between breaths. "I can't wait."

"I think we already established that you are, in fact, impatient," I joked. "But in all honesty, I want to get married right now."

"Who's impatient now?" He smirked, caressing my cheek. I smacked him with a pillow. He got up and picked me up into his arms, setting me down in front of the mirror. "You look so beautiful."

"I could say the same, my handsome superstar."

He nuzzled my neck and placed a multitude of soft kisses. I melted in his arms, unable to realize that someone was now knocking on the door. RK jumped and darted out to the window, our little moment of alone time ruined by whoever was at the door.
