(Madhu's POV)
I stomped my way into the office, squeezing the life out of the files in my hand. I reached my cabin and threw them into the desk. Yash walked in as I plopped down onto the chair.
"You okay Madhu?" He asked perplexed at my behavior.
"Yash, tell me something. Have you ever seen me smile?"
"Uhhhhhhh......not that I know of." He said.
I rubbed my forehead in tension. He handed me a file.
"Get this presentation ready quick. We have a meeting in 2 hours." He said.
"Okay." I answered.
I flipped through the file, and began to prepare the presentation. But I couldn't concentrate. RK's words were blasting in my ears. I took out my pocket mirror and smiled. I looked silly. I frowned and slammed it shut, stuffing it into the bag. I continued to type up the presentation.
(RK's POV)
I speed through the streets to the hospital. I was wiping sweat over and over. Nothing should happen to Anu.
"Chief calm down! Nothing will happen to Anu. She will be alright!"
I quickly found a parking place and ran into the hospital doors. Everyone was staring at me, like they would with every superstar. I went to the reception.
"Anushka Kundra." I said, my voice shaking.
"RK sir, she is in room 301." She said.
"Thank you."
"Sir wait!"
"What!?"
"You need to sign."
"I have no time for these things. Bittuji fill out the form." I ordered.
"Yes chief."
I rushed to the room the nurse told me. There were police standing outside the door. The doctors were inside. Anu was lying on the bed. Her head was bandaged and her arm was in a cast. She was unconcious.
"Mr. Kundra, we are investigating this case. It looked like a hit and run case. Ms. Anushka was lying injured in the middle of a lonely street."
"Who had the guts to do this to her?!" I said, grabbing the inspector's collar. "Go and find that ba***d!"
"Mr. Kundra please calm down." He said. I let go of him.
The doctor came out, his face contorted in worry.
"Mr. Kundra, your sister has lost a lot of blood. We need to operate on her fast."
"Then why are you staring at my face?! Go save her! If anything happens to her, I won't spare any of you!" I spat into his face.
"Mr. Kundra behave yourself. We are trying our best. But we don't have your sister's blood group in any nearby hospital. We need group AB negative blood."
"Then take my blood, but nothing should happen to her."
"That's not how it works Mr. Kundra. We need to see if your blood group matches hers. Otherwise we can't do the transfusion."
"Then test it!"
"Nurse!" He called. A nurse came and took me with her.
(A while later...)
"Doctor, his blood group doesn't match."
I slammed my fist into the wall.
"Mr. Kundra, is there anyone else you know who matches her blood group?"
