(Madhu's POV)
I went into Anu's room to freshen up. Surely she must have some clothes that could fit me. She was reading a book when I walked in. Seeing me, she sat upright and rubbed her hands together.
"Finally! I was starving. Did you bring my soup, Madhu?" She stopped talking abruptly to look at me.
"Where's my soup?"
"Your brother couldn't see where he was going and he bumped into me. Your soup landed on both of us." I said, slightly annoyed.
She blinked twice and laughed out loud. I crossed my arms.
"Sorry Madhu, but you are looking so funny."
"Can I use your bathroom? My hair reeks of soup."
"Sure. And feel free to take any of the dresses I have in the wardrobe."
"Thanks." I said. I opened the wardrobe and picked the dress that would best fit me. It was a light blue Anarkali.
I rushed into the bathroom, eager to get the soup drenched clothes off. I peeled my clothes off and stepped into the warm inviting shower. I scrubbed my hair the most. Some of the vegetables got tangled in it. Disgusting. Stupid RK. He could of at least watched where he was going. I groaned to myself and quickly finished my shower. Anu was waiting for me, her expression indicating that she needed something.
"Wow Madhu. This Anarkali really suits you."
"Thank you." I said, smiling.
She twiddled her thumbs and but her lip. I waited patiently.
"Do you need anything Anu?" I asked, drying my wet hair with the towel.
"Could you get a blanket from the wardrobe? I'm feeling cold."
"Yeah.." I said. I walked over to the wardrobe and searched for the blankets. "Which one?" There were a few to choose from.
"There should be a fluffy green one on the top. Give me that one. It's my favorite blanket."
There was no green blanket. Just a thin blue one was on the top. I looked for it in the small pile. Nothing.
"Anu, it's not here."
"Really?!"
"Yeah."
"Omg Rishu. He stole it again." I laughed to myself.
"Why would RK steal a blanket?"
"Because he likes to mess with me. And he likes that blanket too. I've seen him cuddle with it."
My face turned red trying to hold back the loudest laugh I could ever imagine. My imagination manifested an image of RK hugging and cuddling the blanket in his sleep. I bit my tongue as hard as I could.
"I'll go get it. Where's his room?"
"Upstairs. But shouldn't you know this already?" She asked, eyeing me with suspicion.
"Uhhhhhhh...."
"Just kidding. Don't freak out." She giggled.
I walked outside and scaled the seemingly hundreds of stairs that led to the top floor. There were portraits of RK all down the hallway. I couldn't help but shamelessly blush at the one of him shirtless. He had the perfect body, one that every girl would die for. I was too preoccupied in staring at his godlike physique that I slammed into the door of his room. It swung open along with my body. I was in his room. Now to find that blanket.
I walked in with baby steps. RK was nowhere to be found. I reached his bed looking for the blanket. Conveniently, I found the same blanket of Anu's description folded neatly on the bed. I reached to grab it and hurry out of there. I turned to run when I hit someone face first. I looked up and saw RK flashing his sensuous smirk at me. He was naked except for a towel around his shoulders and waist. And he was wet. His wet hair made him look even more hot. This man was drool worthy.
"What's my jungli bili doing here?"
"I came to get Anu's blanket. And I'm not your jungli bili." I huffed.
"I still think you are. Now please leave, I just cleaned the soup off, and I don't want drool on me either." He chuckled.
"I'm not drooling. In your dreams."
"Whatever you say." He shrugged.
I tried to maneuver around RK, but he decided to keep me here. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close to his body. His wet body pressed hard against my fragile self. The water from his hair dropped down onto my face.
"RK, what are you doing?" I gasped.
"I don't know." He whispered.
A new emotion fell over me. I forgot everything around us instantly. It was just RK and I. He closed his eyes and leaned down, closing in on my face. His breaths were hard and hot. Ecstasy filled the atmosphere. I held his face in my hands and crushed my lips onto his. The built up passion exploded between us. My hands trailed upwards to grab handfuls of his dark silky hair. I hadn't experienced this feeling in a while. My emotions overwhelmed me. I immediately broke away from the kiss and sprinted out of the room, clutching the blanket in my hands.
I found an open room and closed it behind me, breathing hard. No, I wasn't falling for him. The heat of the moment that's all. Yes, there was no love involved.
(RK's POV)
What did I just do? I kissed Madhu. Why? I never ever kissed a girl that way. Not even the actresses I worked with got a kiss like that. What made this kiss special?
