(Madhu's POV)
I thought about what RK had told me at the studio. But it only reminded me of my heartbreak. The day Armaan left me flashed in my mind. I felt so vulnerable and weak that day. RK was right. Somewhere deep down, I wanted revenge for what Armaan did to me.
"Ma'am, we've reached the office." The driver said.
"Huh?.....oh...thank you." I got out of the car.
I hurried back with some files. Some business wanted to make a deal with Yash. I knocked on his cabin door.
"Yes come in." He said.
"Yash, I have the files you needed."
"Great Madhubala....put them here."
"Yash, you can call me Madhu if you like. I know my name is a mouthful."
"Alright then...Madhu." He smiled. "What did RK call you for, by the way?"
"I'm sorry Yash, but I can't share that with you. It's personal." I looked away from him.
"No problem. I respect your privacy."
"Thank you. And do check the files. All the companies' details are in them."
"Ok. Thanks."
Yash dropped me home today. He was curious about my meeting with RK, but he kept quiet. We finally reached my house.
"Yash, come inside. For some tea."
"Maybe next time Madhu. I have some important work pending."
"Alright. But you will come inside next time." I told him. He smiled.
"For sure. Bye." He sped off.
Trishna opened the door and stuffed a sweet into my mouth.
"Madhu! I passed my exams."
"Rea...ll...y!" I said, with my mouth full.
"Yes really! I knew you wouldn't believe me!" She pulled me into a tight hug.
"Congrats Trishna!" I said, happily.
We distributed sweets to everyone in the neighborhood. They all gave Trishna their blessings. Exhausted, we both retreated to bed. I liked to fall asleep after talking to Trishna for a while. She was my stress reliever.
"Trishna. I need to ask you something."
"What Madhu?"
"Ummm..." I didn't know how to ask her.
"Madhu! Tell me, na."
"What would you do if someone hurt your feelings? If they betrayed you?" I chocked out.
"Me! I would give them a taste of their own medicine...I mean, who gave them the right to hurt me intentionally..." She paused.
"Is this relating to that ba***rd Armaan?" She looked at me sternly.
"No...no...It's not."
"Madhu....you're lying...what's going on?"
I told her everything that happened in the past couple days. She looked puzzled.
"Say yes."
"What?" I was confused.
"Say yes. Say you will help him."
"But...I don't feel this is right."
"And what that Armaan did to you?! That was right!"
"No...but..."
"Teach Armaan a lesson. He hurt you, now hurt him back!"
"Fine!" I blurted. The pain was building up inside of me.
"And don't worry. I won't tell Malik about this." Trishna hugged me.
"Thank you, Trishna..." I said, now in tears.
(Next morning....)
"Yash, I need RK's phone number."
"Alright...but don't talk to him all day long. You are here to work, not chit-chat." He said firmly.
"Thank you." I said as Yash handed me the number.
(RK's POV)
"An unknown number. Hmmmm...." I answered the call.
"Hello?" I said.
"This is Madhubala."
"Madhubala....ahaaaan." I said.
"I will help you in this revenge plan." She said.
"That's great...I guarantee you...this superstar will not let you down." I said.
I heard her sigh on the other end.
"Ok...bye."
"Bye Madhubala."
I hung up. Let the real fun begin......
