Chapter 12

Y/N's POV

When I woke up, I was laying on some sort of flying bed. How long had I slept ? Had someone used the codewords and I just woke up ? A woman wearing a white dress was looking at me while bandaging any injuries I had.

"She's awake !" She said. She had an accent. I couldn't quite pin point what type of accent it was.

Steve, Bucky and T'challa all walked towards me.

"Where are we ?" I asked.

"You are in Wakanda, Agent Rogers. In my sister's laboratory to be exact. We flew here after your battle with Mr. Stark" T'challa answered.

I sat up.

"What happened to Zemo ? Did he escape ?" I said, concern in my voice.

"King T'challa found him. He's rotting away in prison" Bucky said sitting down next to me. He was missing his metal arm.

I looked around the lab and saw two Cryo chambers. Were they going to freeze us ?

"You sure about this ?" Steve asked Bucky.

"About what ?" I asked demanding an answer

"We can't trust our own minds. So until they figure out how to get this stuff out of our heads, I think going back under is the best thing. For everybody." Bucky explained.

"How do you know they'll succeed ?" I asked, looking down.

"Wakanda has technology that is far more advanced than anyone's" The woman in the white dress said.

"I'm Shuri" She added shaking my hand. "I'll find a way to bring you both back to normal"

I sighed then smiled.

"You're right, it's what's best for us now" I said holding Bucky's hand.

The Cryo chambers opened signalling that they were ready.

I walked over to Steve and hugged him.

"Don't get in any trouble" I told him.

"I won't, I promise" He said letting me go and smiling.

He handed me a rectangular box. I took it from him and opened it.

It was my bracelet.

"Is it the real one or is it a replica ?" I asked.

"Do you really think I'd give my little sister something fake ?" He asked.

I put the bracelet around my wrist.

"I'm not your little sister. We were born minutes apart" I said.

"Well, at least now you do look like her older brother and not the other way around" Bucky said, jokingly.

I walked over to Shuri and T'challa.

"Thank you for helping us" I said.

"It's the least we could do" T'challa said.

I walked next to Bucky and kissed him.

He grabbed my wrist to look at the bracelet.

"How did you even get this ? I thought a museum owned it now. And you're a wanted criminal, you can't just walk in and ask for it" Bucky said to Steve.

"I have my ways" Steve said smiling.

I gave everyone one last smile before walking inside the Cryo chamber. The glass door closed. I looked at Bucky before everything went dark.

I opened my eyes for the first time in a year, I was in a small house, three children were looking down at me. When they realized I was waking up, they ran away, laughing.
