Y/N's POV
Steve was about to become a super soldier, he would become America's hero and protector during these hard times. Peggy, Steve and I walked towards Dr. Erskine.
"Agent Carter, Agent Rogers, don't you think you would be more confortable in the booth ?" Erskine asked.
Peggy looked at Steve and smiled.
"No, I'd prefer to stay here. What about you Y/N ?" Peggy asked me.
"Wouldn't want to leave you alone" I said smiling at her.
Steve laid down inside a chamber as the nurses and doctors prepared him.
Suddenly a bomb exploded and a man holding a gun, who I assumed caused the explosion, ran towards Steve and shot him. I took my gun and started shooting at my brother's attacker. It took me a couple tries, but I managed to kill him.
Peggy was shocked. When I looked around, everything was on fire. Erskine was dead, Colonel Philips was dead, the only ones left were Peggy, Howard, a General and me.
I ran towards my brother and tried to help him.
"Steve, keep your eyes open" I said as I tried applying pressure on his wound.
"The power levels are dropping. We either do this now or never !" Howard screamed.
"Mr. Rogers ! Get in there" Said the general.
"Are you insane ! He's just been shot, he wouldn't survive !" I said, angrily.
"Stark than !" The general screamed back.
"No ! I'm the guy who pushes the buttons, nothing more !"
Peggy looked confused, but she got up and walked towards the chamber. I understood what she was about to do.
"Are you sure about this ? There's no turning back" I said.
"I'm certain" She answered.
She took off her vest and laid in the chamber, ready to be injected with the serum.
I looked at Peggy and she nodded.
"Now Howard !"
The chamber's doors closed as light began to emit from the inside.
I heard Peggy scream from inside the chamber, Steve did too and he tried getting up to help her.
"She's strong, she'll be fine" I said.
When the chamber finally opened, Peggy looked tired and taller. Howard ran towards her to help her get out.
"Did it work ?" She asked.
"Yeah, and you won't be needing your heels anymore" Howards said, clearly shocked by Peggy's height.

Steve and I had learned that the unit Bucky was with had been captured by Hydra. Our only option was to seek help from Peggy.
"Peggy, could you do us a favour ?" I asked while walking towards her.
"What is it ?" She asked.
"Bucky's unit was captured by Hydra, and we were wondering if you and Y/N could go save them..." Steve explained.
Peggy sighed and smiled.
"Suit up" She told me as she got her brand new Captain Carter suit.
