~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Are you sure that this is the way to their new place?"
Patton looked down at his phone screen which showed the directions.
"I'm pretty sure..." his tone was anything but confident.
After a few minutes, they came across a cabin that looked quite worn down, it seemed there was someone inside judging by the light emanating from the windows and the smoke rising up out of the chimney.
"Let's ask for directions." suggested Logan.
Agreeing with his now fiancé, the two of them then made their way up the porch steps, knocking rapidly. Before Logan's fist could his the door a third time, it opened with a loud creaking sound.
"Come in..." came a frail-sounding voice.
The couple looked at one another, both hesitant to enter. Patton was the first to walk into the cabin though, ignoring the fact that he could be walking into a dangerous situation.
"A vampire, hmm? It's been a while since one of your kind has ventured this far into the forest."
The boys were taken aback by the fact the woman knew of creatures such as vampires.
"Don't be alarmed, boys."
She turned to face them, her raven hair falling in waves down her back, she seemed to be only a few years older than them.
"I'd be a pretty dreadful sorceress if I couldn't tell the difference between humans and other, more dangerous species. You're Patton Black, correct? And the young man behind you is Logan. May I just say, you both make a lovely couple."
A light blush dusted the cheeks of both boys. Logan quickly shook it off and stepped forward.
"Did I hear you correctly? You said you're a sorceress?"
With a gentle smile, she nodded.
"Your heard correctly. Why? Oh, nevermind. Don't answer that... I can sense the magic that binds your soul to that pendant.
She pointed to the piece of jewellery hanging around Patton's neck.
"I have a proposal for you both..."
The couple both looked at each other curiously before returning their attention to the woman.
"We're listening..." they spoke simultaneously.
*One Hour Later*
Patton looked at her, he couldn't quite grasp the specifics of what she'd explained to them, but he understood roughly what she had said.
"So, to put it simply-" Logan began.
"You're telling us that you can complete my transition, making me a vampire?"
"I can make you human again so that it's possible for Patton to turn you properly. I can do that, under the condition that once I've done my part, you give the pendant to me. That is all I ask in return."
The couple exchanged a look that meant they were both thinking the exact same thing.
"You have yourself a deal, Miss...?"
"Just call me Aria..." she told them, a kind smile on her face.
Both boys could tell that Aria wasn't trying to trick them, something about her smile just seemed so honest.
"Alright. Aria it is. So, should we get started? I'm sorry if that seems a little rude but we've got somewhere to be, and we're already late."
"Very well. This won't take long anyway."
Aria grabbed a vial of red liquid and then walked up to Patton, handing it to him.
"Drink this. Once you have, take off the pendant and hand it over to me."
He followed her instructions without hesitation, and then watched as she put the pendant around her own neck, beginning to chant a spell to transfer Logan's life back to him.
"It's done."
"What? Already?" Patton asked, surprised.
"Well, he's alive. Human once more. All you need to do now is turn him. It'll work this time."
The couple nodded and thanked her. After a few minutes, they left and headed to their original destination, glad that they could both be properly happy together now.
