014. SAND, SAND, AND MORE SAND

She looked at the navigation system with a frown. Apparently, she was now stranded on Florrum, a planet located somewhere in the Sertar sector. Although she was able to read off the coordinates, that didn't mean she had any clue as to where she was. But from first appearances, the planet was a dirtball. She certainly didn't hate sand, but she had come to miss the color green. It had been far too long since she had seen the color in a natural environment.
She managed to unlock the escape pod's hatch before climbing out and standing on the planet's surface. She quickly realized that this could have been a major mistake as she hadn't checked to see if the atmosphere was breathable. However, she assumed that it was alright since she was still alive. She looked around and for miles at a time all she saw was sand. She sighed with annoyance before deciding she should probably check on the passenger who had been unaware of the trip that he had taken. She peered back into the pod where Ben remained unconscious.
When The Supremacy had started to take on damage from the electrical surge that came from the Supreme Leader's quarters, Evangeline had panicked and acted without thinking logically. She had assumed that if she left Ben behind, the First Order would not have dealt with him too kindly. Somehow, she had found the strength within herself to drag his unconscious body while she limped toward the escape pods. She had to have been running on adrenaline from the shock she had received from the power cell. She remembered the extreme pain that even Seth had passed out from after the electrical surges stopped and the power cell had been drained.
"Utinni."
She turned startled by the abrupt sound of another voice. Seeing only a Jawa, she relaxed and even smiled a bit.
"Hey there, little guy," her voice was raspy, no doubt from the screaming.
"Uwanna," the Jawa spoke softly as it eyed the metallic hilt of her lightsaber that peeked out from her satchel.
Although she had encountered a few Jawas during her time, she had never gotten around to learning the language. Now that she had escaped all of the action from the First Order ship, she found herself zapped of all energy as her adrenaline finally ran out. Her eyelids grew heavy as her body demanded sleep. Her knees buckled and for once she was grateful for the sand as her body collapsed. Although her landing wasn't soft, her body had gone numb to feeling as it shut down to finally rest. Her eyelids fluttered as she tried to fight the feeling. However, she did feel the small Jawa snatch up her weapon. The hum of the activation almost acted like a lullaby while she lost consciousness.
"Ja'bo'ba," was the last thing she heard the Jawa say before passing out from exhaustion.
