017. SITH LORD WITH A SIDE OF PIRATES

"I'm not carrying him."
It was the first thing spoken after Kylo Ren collapsed and fell unconscious. Rey gave Finn a disapproving look, but he didn't care. There was absolutely no way that he'd be carrying the sith lord. It was hot enough outside as it was. He certainly didn't need the sith's black cape draped over him to add to that heat.
"We could drag him," Poe offered, "He certainly wouldn't mind."
Rey frowned even harder, "We're not going to drag him."
BB-8 chirped.
"Put the defibrillators away, BB-8," Rey demanded before looking the sith over, "He's lost a bit of blood from his head and his temperature has risen... we need to get him out of the sun."
Which then led to the rather humorous scene of an ex-trooper, a pilot, and a droid carrying a sith lord across the desert. Finn muttered complaints beneath his breath, but refrained from speaking them out loud. Rey had insisted that it was their responsibility since they had gotten themselves into this mess in the first place. Although true, that didn't mean Finn had to like or agree with her reasoning. As the sun had risen, so had the temperature. They also quickly learned that there was more than just sand on the planet. There were boiling geysers. Finn had found that out the hard way which was evident by the wet scorch march staining his right pant leg.
Despite the numerous times that the sith lord had tried to kill them, Rey continuously looked over at him with concern. Finn certainly didn't understand why, nor did he enjoy the constant glances. BB-8 let out a furious series of beeps as he found himself caught in the black cape. Finn couldn't help but chuckle, which he quickly regretted as the droid gave him a quick shock of electricity. Aside from the pain he now felt in his leg, Finn's mouth was dry and he was starting to suffer from the side effects of heat exhaustion as well.
Just when he started to lose all hope that they'd find shelter, a shadow passed overhead. At first, Finn thought it had been a hallucination; however, when the shadow passed again he quickly looked overhead. Birds. No, a ship. They were saved! Without thinking, both he and Poe dropped the sith lord in unison and started waving their arms to attract the ship's attention.
The ship must have noticed them because it soon after landed. The first thing he noticed was the ship was much much larger than he originally thought it would be. Second, the ship's crew didn't seem too friendly, but hopefully it was just a misjudge of character.
"You lost?" the first crewmember asked as he stepped down from the ship.
"Stranded is a better word," Poe replied, "You have a shelter nearby?"
"It's a ways off," a second crewmember answered the question as he stepped into place behind the first.
"Do you think you could take us there?" Rey asked.
"I don't see why not," the first answered; however, the way a silent third in the background had been eyeing them made Finn uneasy.
"Do you have enough room aboard?" Finn asked as he then noticed a fourth and a fifth crewmember.
"We'd need to take two trips," the first stated nonchalantly.
"You have enough room for all of us," Rey waved her hand like she had done back aboard The Supremacy.
"I have enough room for all of you," the first nodded his head in agreement.
"Beal?" the second raised an eyebrow, "You feeling alright?"
"Welcome aboard," Beal involuntarily motioned for the group to board.
"Scrag! She's one of them sorcerers the captain warned us about, Vol!" one of the other crew members shouted.
Before anyone could respond, the sound of a blaster could be heard and Finn watched Rey fall to the ground faster than his mind could process. He quickly ran toward her as the world around him seemed to slow. However, when the butt of a blaster caught his nose, he stopped immediately. He could feel that his nose had started to bleed, but he didn't let that distract him as he tried to scramble to his feet. When the front of the blaster was shoved in his face, he stopped all movement and raised his hands defensively.
"Take the girl and the droid," Vol, clearly the second in command, commanded as Beal slowly snapped out of his daze, "The captain will decide what to do with 'em."
Finn looked around and noticed that Poe was in a similar predicament. There were a lot more Weequay pirates hidden in the ship than Finn had originally thought as he was surrounded by five while Poe was surrounded by six. Kylo Ren still laid with his face in the sand as he remained unconscious. One of the pirates scooped Rey up into his arms with ease, but she disappeared from his view as she was brought aboard the ship. It took three pirates to subdue BB-8 and drag his stubborn metallic rear aboard. The pirates slowly backed away, but kept their blasters trained on Finn and Poe as they boarded the ship as well. Moments later, it was just Finn, Poe, and Kylo Ren left amidst the sand.
"Hey," Poe grabbed Finn's shoulders to steady him.
Finn's eyes tried to look beyond Poe to find the ship, but the pilot continuously blocked his vision.
"Finn," Poe shook him a bit, "Relax, she was stunned but she can handle herself. Right now, we need to figure out how to find her."
Finn relaxed slightly and focused on his breathing. She was okay. The blaster had been set to stun. She was okay. He repeated the thought in his mind desperately hoping that it were true.
"What do we do about-" Finn stopped mid sentence as he turned to point at Kylo Ren but immediately noticed that the sith lord was missing, "Um, Poe?"
"Yes, Finn."
Poe had yet to notice.
"Kylo Ren is missing."
"You don't say-," Poe frowned as he processed what Finn had said, "What now?"
"Don't just stand there," Finn stated, "Help me look for him."
"Hey!"
"What?"
"Get back here!"
Finn turned to see Poe sprinting after a pack of Jawas that had lifted the sith lord above their heads and started to carry him away. After taking a second to process the moment, Finn ran after Poe. Due to the difference of their leg sizes, they quickly managed to catch up to the pack. However, when they tried to take Kylo Ren back, the Jawas began to swat at their hands.
"Togo togu!"
"Do you speak Jawaese?"
Finn gave Poe a blank stare, "Do I look like I speak Jawaese?"
"Ko lopo," the Jawa that spoke before pointed at Kylo Ren, then he pointed in the distance, "Cirkoza."
"I think he wants us to follow him," Poe noted and Finn sighed, but nodded his head in agreement. As long as he didn't have to carry the sith lord any more.
