"Mom! I'm back-" Riley's voice stopped short when she realized the house was empty.

'Where did everyone go?' She thought.

Her sister, parents and even dog were nowhere to be found.

Then, her phone rang.
"Mama! Where is every-"
"It's your sister. We're at the hospital, she had a seizure and hit her head."

Riley's breath caught in her throat. "Please, mom..."

"I'm sorry, Ry but, we lost her."
Her mother's voice sounded broken.
Riley felt her heart shatter; and that was her first heartbreak.

Riley's vision refocused on the man above her, who was still leaving burning trails on her skin where his fingers would roam.

Riley couldn't move.
In shock, and petrified.

As his hand gripped her thigh, and his mouth breathed hot, dangerous breaths onto her neck, Riley blacked out once again.

It was 2017, the week after Riley graduated high school.
Everything was pointless to her. College, a career.

While she loved music, Riley could never get a career in it, as she knew nothing of instruments.

She could sing, sure. But not good enough.

"Riley! Come look at this band I just saw on YouTube! It has over three million views already!" Her mom rushed in, shoving a computer in Riley's face.

Riley's mother knew she loved KPop. In her preteens. But Riley just couldn't say no. Her mom was trying to help her move on from her sisters death three years ago.

Seven boys stood together, dancing like they had no care in the world.

"Dynamite, by BTS." The caption read.

Riley raised a brow, but took the computer. "I'll look into them. Thank you."

And with that, her mother left the room, a hopeful and sad smile on her face.

Riley clicked through their music, until finally she came across one song.

Spring Day.

Tears flooded her eyes as the song said everything she never could. Riley even ended up at her sister's grave, playing the song as cries were silenced by the sleeve of her sweater.

Even now.
The song rang in her head.
How long do I have to wait?
To see you?
To meet you?

A sob clawed out of Riley's throat before she could catch it.
Half for the memories, half for the dirty, cold hands touching everywhere she swore she'd protect.

I miss you.

"Oh, what's the matter, Riley, you don't like it when I touch you?" Doyun cooed.
A chill ran up Riley's spine as she shook her head.

Until the spring day comes.
Until the flowers bloom again.

"No! No I don't!" Riley cried.

The smirk on his face was disgusting. "I'll make you feel good, I promise."

Doyun hooked his finger in the waistband of her panties. They were cute, pink and frilly.
She liked them because she could feel cute while also being professional.

Not anymore.

I try to exhale you in pain, like smoke. I say that I'll erase you. But I can't forget you yet.
