"It worked. It actually worked!"

Jungkook could hear Jimin shriek excitedly, as Hoseok finally hung up from the long call with Riley.

"If by worked you mean Riley almost getting killed then yes, it worked." Taehyung mumbled, pushing away the other thing that almost happened to his Noona.

Jungkook glanced at Sarah, who was in the kitchen talking with the president, who they learned was named Ari.

"Sarah, we're done!" He hollered for her, a smile spreading on his face as she turned to him.

Jungkook had spent so long in the studio, dark circles had begun to form under his eyes.

But it was hardly noticeable to him, as he was used to it. Working for hours on end until his body shut down and he would end up passed out on Taehyung's bed.

And if he was being honest, it was nice to leave the dark room and be greeted by Sarah's smile.
The same smile she had in that photo, and it sent a chill through Jungkook's spine.

Jungkook had never even liked someone before, other than an occasional celebrity or admiring a girl in the gym.

But Sarah was much different than a girl in the gym. Sure, she was beautiful, but he couldn't resist her once he heard her laugh at his terrible jokes, or when she held the cat that previously shredded poor Kook's face.

The cat had trusted her so instantly that it only made him more curious.

So close to Christmas, it was fairly cold. But Jungkook desperately wanted to walk with her again.

Something about talking to Sarah made him want to move, to run a marathon even. It was like adrenaline was coursing through his veins any time she even looked at the poor boy.

"Do ... do you want to walk with me? It's kind of cold but I just-"

Sarah laughed, short but Jungkook knew it wasn't in mockery of him.
Taking his hand, Sarah led him outside.

It wasn't too cold, more so if someone had left the freezer open overnight, but you could still see the fog of breath when you exhale out of your mouth.

To Jungkook, the weather was perfect to snow. But Sarah suddenly said, "you know, with weather like this I don't think a white Christmas is in store for Korea after all."

Jungkook's pouty lip jutted out in betrayal. Damn weather.

"Are you sure~? I wanted to build a snowman with you!" The boy whined, only to laugh right after.

He'd always been so childish, even if he wasn't the youngest of BTS, Jungkook would still stick his chopsticks under his lips like he was a walrus every time. It was just a rule at this point.

"Are you hungry?" He asked, his stomach rumbled suddenly after the thought of those chopsticks. Those were good for Ramen, too. Not just walrus impersonations.

"Of course! I mean, unless you're talking street food again cause if that's the case I think I'm gonna need a flight." Sarah's eyes were squinted in her smile, indicating she had no intention of leaving after all.

Jungkook only laughed as he grabbed the girl's hand. After quite the walk, they ended up in a quiet restaurant, covered in reds, browns and copper like decorations.

It was pretty for a little ramen shop on the corner, but Sarah could tell Jungkook preferred it.

Suddenly, the man started speaking Korean to a man behind the counter.
