Riley could hear Hoseok's music from his studio, despite the efforts soundproof padding.
But it was still nice to hear.
He'd been in there all night, but she knew it had been a while since he could focus.
Riley then heard what sounded like him making really... odd noises.
The song was really pretty, something about a daydream. But the noises he was making was like a hentai girl.
Dork. Riley thought.
After the song had finished, Riley knocked on the door, holding a bottle of water for him.
She was sure Hoseok could see her through the fog glass, as he had stood and opened it within seconds."Are you alright?" He asked, his hands finding Riley's cheeks to move her head around to check for fever or injury.
Riley giggled and pushed his hands away. "I'm fine, Hoseok. I swear. I just brought some water for you, but I was amused by those sounds."
He blushed. "The perk of being a rapper is you have to make your own background noises." Was all he said, taking the bottle from her hand.
"What... what do you think so far, though?"
"What do I think? I think you're underrated and deserve an ocean just for you. Instead of a crowd of purple and shouting BTS, you deserve an ocean of orange and red shouting, J-Hope!~ but don't tell anyone I said that." She said, smiling.
Hoseok smiled, his cheeks still pink. But now more so after her flattery.
"I know I don't deserve all that. Nor do I deserve someone like you cheering me on."
Riley rolled her eyes and ruffled his soft amber red hair. "Yes you do. If anything I don't deserve you..." she trailed off, thinking of the question she'd been dying to ask.
"Can you teach me how to dance? I don't care which one you-" he suddenly grabbed her hand, yanking the poor girl to the gym-like room where they recorded their infamous choreography videos.
Riley's eyes were wide. This room was like a star on its own.
"I want to teach you this one first... I could tell it was important to you during the interview so..." Suddenly, Spring Day was playing on the speakers, as Hoseok had turned it on from his phone.
Her eyes went from surprised, to filled with tears. He really was watching her.
And understanding her.
As the beginning faded, he set her in place. "Start in the middle with me."
Riley looked up, staring into his soft eyes. She trusted this man with her life, might as well trust him to teach Riley to dance to this song that broke her to the core.
"When it reaches near the chorus, walk away to the wall"
Once her cue sounded, Riley walked away, turning to look at Hoseok, who was at the other end.
"Run to me before Namjoon's part."
She heard the guitar that she always heard before Namjoon would rap, and ran as smooth as she could, to not look awkward.
The two met in the middle of the room, Hoseok holding her head in one hand with his other pressed firmly against her waist, like a kiss that wouldn't touch. As the two drew closer, he pushed her away, nodding for her to spin to the yellow marker on the floor.
