"Ne... va...da..."
"Cal...calif..."
Riley stared at herself in her bedroom mirror, her face was twisting in pain as she forced the English past her lips.

She was working on speaking English. By naming the states.

But, of course it ended in pain.

"It's useless."

She could always endure it, but for some reason every time she tried it just got worse.

Riley pulled her laptop out of a drawer of the desk attached to the mirror. It was even still open on some articles of the comet she had seen that night.

She had to get it translated to Korean with a web extension.

"Large meteor passes New York City."
"Meteor lights up Empire State Building, see video."
"What was the meteor in New York City?"

Nothing answered her questions.
Until now.

Riley updated her search, seeing newer articles on the comet... or now meteor, that had passed recently.

Reading it aloud to help her understand, her eyes widened.

"The Red Dragon, a meteor that passes every 500 years. Chinese legends say the meteor appears to grant wishes."

Riley's stomach dropped at the final line.

"It is famous for twisting the wishes against the person in the ancient stories."

Riley was rudely awoken by an older Korean lady shaking her awake, as the plane had finally landed.

"Miss~ you must wake up!"

Riley groaned but sat up. "I'm sorry." She said, bowing to her slightly.

The lady smiled when she realized Riley spoke her language.

"It is no trouble, dear."

Riley smiled and stood from her seat, her bones aching and popping with each joint's new stretch.

With a low grumble of pain, Riley exited the plane. It was a nice plane, given her circumstances.
But she figured Hyunwoo went into the company funds to give her the best.

Her heart ached at the thought of Hyunwoo. He looked so hurt when she left.

"Promise me you'll call"
"I promise."
"And remember to keep a jacket on hand, it gets really cold at night- and brush your teeth, and make sure you're eating well. Please don't work too hard. And if any of those Korean boys try anything, idol or not you call me and I'll-"

"Oppa~, I promise I'll be okay." Riley said, hugging around his waist.

She felt his grip tighten around her, holding on for dear life.
Riley knew she would miss him overall. He was like her big brother, no one compared to Hyunwoo.
