7~Blast From The Past (1)

"Jae!" 16 year old Yuri called out. The mentioned guy turned around, a smile etching on his face making his dimples pop. 

Yuri jumped on him. Jaehyun protectively wrapped his hands around her waist and spinned her around. Small giggles left the girls mouth out of pure happiness. "I didn't know you were going to pick me up today," she said . "Well it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you," he bent down to her height and booped her nose.

His actions made her chuckle. It sent a warm feeling to his heart. Her smile was very precious to him. Unknowingly he kept staring at her. Yuri waved her hands in front of him. 

"What are you staring at?" she asked him, her eyes were filled with curiosity. "You," he said dreamily. His words made the girl blush deep. She playfully hit his arm, "Ahhh, stop it~"  Yuri whined. "What? You are beautiful then why should I not stare at you?" he replied still dazed by her. 

"Gosh, you're so cheesy Jae. Sometimes you make me wonder who's the younger one among us," she said while chuckling and left him standing. "But you still love me!" he exclaimed and followed her. "Who said that I love you?" she teased him and ran. 

A playful gasp left his lips. He ran behind the girl and scooped her in his arms. Giggles and laughter's could be heard from the couple who were so in love with each other. 

The couple got inside the car and drove to the beach. As soon as they reached the destination, Yuri got out the car and ran towards the sea. He knew how much the girl loved the sea. "Waahhhhh!" she exclaimed. 

"Be careful Ri!" he instructed her and smile as he proceeded to lock the door. The beach had very few people on it. Evenings were usually considered to be the time of high-tides so most of the people avoided it. 

Yuri stood there still, enjoying the view. Jaehyun came from behind and wrapped his arms around her shoulder. Yuri leaned back on his chest, enjoying his warmth. Jaehyun rested his chin on her head as they enjoyed the sunset. 

The sky turned into beautiful shades of pink, violet, orange and red. "This is so beautiful," she said. Jaehyun hummed in response, admiring the view before him. Yuri turned around and observed him. 

His skin glistened under the setting sun making him look extremely attractive. Jaehyun looked down and  smiled at her. Yuri wrapped her arms around his neck. They both gazed dreamily at each other, silence engulfing them. It was as if the world around faded and it was just the two of them. 

Yuri tiptoed and Jaehyun leaned down. Their lips met in no time. They shared a soft and meaningful kiss as their lips moved in sync. Both parted away but their foreheads touched each other. 

"How did I get so lucky with you?" Jaehyun whispered while looking in her eyes. "I got the same question too," she whispered too. The moment was so magical and pure. It was blissful. Two hearts beating as one, young love they say. 

Jaehyun gently wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead, pulling her in his embrace. Words would fail to describe how much they meant to each other. There they were basking in each other's warmth. It all felt euphoric.

Two years passed by. Yuri and Jaehyun were still in love with each other experiencing the highs and lows together. They understood each other so well. 

Yuri turned 18 while Jaehyun 21. Jaehyun was busy preparing himself to overtake the company but even so never forgot to take out time for Yuri. She appreciated his efforts a lot. They matured over time, learning different aspects of a relationship.

A three year age gap was nothing for them as their love and trust was built up strongly throughout the years. Spending weekends together was something both of them always looked forward to. 

Being an adult, Jaehyun moved out of his family house, living alone in an apartment. Whenever Yuri felt stressed up because of the university, he would always try to cheer her up no matter how tired or worn out he himself was. 

It was just another weekend. Jaehyun and Yuri were on the couch watching Netflix. She was snuggled up in his arms. Both of them were focused on watching the movie. Yuri felt slightly bored by the plot of the movie. 

A very random decision came to her mind. She now wanted to annoy him for no reason. Yuri sat up straight. Jaehyun looked at her slightly tilting his head. She found his action very cute. Yuri couldn't resist herself from pecking his lips.

He chuckled and lifted Yuri so she could sit on his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Jaehyun cupped her face and leaned in to kiss her. It did not take much time for the kiss to deepen in. 

Soon lust took over their bodies. He swiftly lifted her up, her legs locked at his torso. Their lips moved in sync. They made way to his bedroom. Jaehyun laid her down on the bed and hovered her. He stared at her lovingly.

He locked their lips again. Shortly one thing led to another. Things started getting steamy. It was not something they hadn't done before. They surrendered themselves to each other because they were so in love. 

Few weeks passed away like a thin air. Jaehyun recently took over as the President in his father's company. Yuri was so proud of him. She was so happy that he was achieving his goals. They even celebrated his success together.

As he succeeded, his responsibilities went up too. Even though he couldn't spend much time with Yuri, she understood everything. 

One afternoon Yuri was laying on her bed when she felt sudden urge of throwing up. She ran to the bathroom and emptied her guts out. Strange, Yuri thought. For the past few days she has been experiencing mood swings and also noticed how she missed her period.

Without wasting much time she rushed to the doctor.

Yuri waited for her turn to arrive. "Ms.Park Yuri!" she heard the nurse call her name. Yuri stood up and followed her inside.

She sat on the chair as the doctor arrived. "Ms.Park Yuri, can you tell me what happened?" the doctor questioned. "Uhh, I have been feeling a lot of mood swings lately. Even I threw up in the afternoon. I also feel tired," she explained. 

The doctor nodded her head. "Okay, are you sexually active Ms.Yuri?" she asked. "I am but we always use protection," she replied. The doctor hummed in response. "Have you missed your period lately?" she asked. 

"I don't know but yes I'm late by a week I guess," Yuri retorted. "Okay, take this. Let's see what it shows. It's only for our knowledge okay? And don't stress up, its totally fine," the doctor assured Yuri and passed her a pregnancy kit. 

Yuri suddenly remembered how Jaehyun always talked about having his own family with her. She took a deep breath and headed to the washroom stalls. She came back and handed over the stick to the doctor. 

They waited for few minutes. The doctor came back. "Ms.Yuri, please take a seat." the doctor said. Yuri sat down. "Ms.Yuri the test came back positive. Congratulations" the doctor informed. "You're pregnant," she informed softly. 

Yuri didn't know how to feel. She felt excited but she was also scared to break the news to Jaehyun. 

Finally gathering courage, she left the clinic and headed back to his apartment. She carried the test with her.
