20~ Words Of Threat

The buzz about the two big names working together spread like wildfire in the business industry. The front page of almost every news paper was covered with the headlines of the Lee's and Park's joining hands.

Jeno was in his office going through his current projects when he heard some commotion outside his office. His door was opened abruptly.

"Sorry sir, but you cannot enter without a prior appointment." Jeno heard Ms.Hwang. Looking up, he saw a fuming Mr.Tak with a newspaper in his hand. The young CEO understood the situation. He got up buttoning his blazer.

"It's okay Ms.Hwang let him in." he instructed. "I apologize sir. I tried stopping him." she replied tensely. "I know Ms.Hwang, no worries. Let him in." he retorted. Ms.Hwang obliged.

Mr.Tak had a smug face on. "Have a seat Mr.Tak." Jeno said. The elder settled down curtly on the couch with Jeno sitting opposite to him.

"It has not even been a month since we broke off the deal and you already gathered around the Parks?" Tak said bitterly. "So? It's business world Mr.Tak. Just because you decided to drop the deal doesn't mean our project will come at halt. We ended up having even better partners." Jeno replied with a smug face.

"How can you do this? We have worked together since a long time!" the elder spat. "Uh uh uh, it was you who called off the partnership. The world doesn't stop revolving just because you did." Jeno retorted while fixing his watch.

"This won't be good for you Lee. I'll make sure of it." Tak replied back furiously. His sentence made Jeno look up with a smirk on his face. "Is it a threat?" Jeno said, amused by the elder.

"It is an Ultimatum!" Myungho spat. "Don't forget you will be crossing the Lee's Mr.Tak. Now now, you don't want your company to go bankrupt, do you? Think twice before pulling any shitty stunt Tak Myungho because, I will not balk from returning the favor." Jeno responded, rancor dripping down his tone.

The elder went stiff after hearing Jeno's voice which had dropped a baritone. He huffed angrily and stomped out of the office.

Jeno leaned back and heaved sigh. Though he knew Tak cannot do anything severe to him or the organization, he still had to be on the lookout incase he pulls something.

A knock on his door caught his attention. His secretary entered the office, concern lacing her tone, she questioned, "Is everything alright sir? Do you want me to get you something?"

Jeno shook his head, "Just let me know what is on my schedule next." Ms.Hwang went through the ipad that she was holding. "Well you have to pay a visit to the Park's project site and then you're practically free for the day." she concluded.

Jeno nodded, "At what time do I have to visit?" he questioned back. "It say's after 3." the woman informed.

"Okay, remind me once its almost the time to leave." he instructed. The secretary bowed and left.

Meanwhile, Yuri was getting ready to visit the project site. She wanted to stay updated with the progress, besides she also got to know that the Lee CEO was also going to pay a visit.

Fixing her attire, she headed towards the car with her secretary, Mr.Kim following her closely.

It took no longer than 15 minutes to reach the destination. The shopping mall that was under construction was almost done with the exterior. The work on interiors was still going on. They still had two months in their hand before the launch.

Deadline was nearing and Yuri couldn't get more anxious. It was a project started by her father but led by her. Yuri had managed smaller projects while being an intern in the company. This one was her first big project as a CEO and had all eyes waiting for its completion and inauguration.
