Kageyama and Hinata stared at me as I looked into the empty cabinet. I had forgotten that I used the last of them when I made cookies for the team. I turned around and gave them a sheepish smile.

"What's wrong?" Kageyama asked. I pointed at the empty cabinet I had been looking at.

"There's nothing there?" Hinata said, unsure.

I pulled out my phone and held the screen out to them after I finished typing.

I forgot that I used all the chocolate chips the last time I made cookies. If you still want me to make some for you we've got to go to the store.

They read over the words and looked at me, smiling.

"I don't mind going to the store." Kageyama smiled down at me.

"Yeah! It'll be fun." Hinata added. I gave them both a smile before holding up a finger and typing out another message.

Okay, let me go tell Kaede so he knows where we are. Then we can go.

Hinata gave me a salute and Kageyama gave me the smallest of smiles in acknowledgment. I turned around and headed to find my brother. He was up in my room, sprawled out on the bed. Kaede was messing with his phone but put it down when I came in.

"Need me to kick them out already?" He asked, starting to stand up. I waved my hands in front of me and pushed him back down. I handed him my phone, showing him the message I had written on the way here.

I used up all the chocolate chips last time I made cookies. So, we're going to run to the store and pick some up. Okay?

He read over the words, then looked up at me.

"You sure you're good with them?"

I nodded.

"If you say so...I guess they can't be too bad." I smiled down cheekily at him, making him chuckle. I started to turn around, but he stopped me.

"Since you're already going to the store, why don't you pick out some things for your room too? Maybe they can help make your room less boring. Might as well since you're already going out." I thought about it for a moment, it didn't seem like such a bad idea. I walked over to my desk and grabbed my wallet, making sure to send him a thumbs up as I walked out of the room.

"Don't forget to message me where you are and let me know if you want me to come and get you!" He yelled out the door as I descended the stairs. When I made it to the bottom I sent him a message.

[(Y/n)]: Yeah whatever, don't get your hopes up too high. But thank you...

[Kaede]: You better let me know. I don't think you want me sending out a search party for you. For what?

[(Y/n)]: Maybe...maybe not. For nothing that I'll ever admit.

[Kaede]: Whatever you say squirt. Go have fun with your friends :)

I smiled down at my phone before shutting it off. I walked over to the boys who were waiting in the kitchen. I smiled at them when they looked at me. I pointed at the front door.

"You ready to go?" Kageyama asked.

I gave him a thumbs up.

"Sweet, let's go!" Hinata bounded over to me, pulling my arm.

I silently laughed as he tugged me towards the door. Kageyama rolled his eyes as he passed us. After we made our way out I shut the door and locked it. We started down the driveway, but I stopped. The two boys stopped alongside me, confused.
