Aiden got back to his house with a dreamy love-sick smile on his face. "Main shayar to nahin, magar ae haseen, jab se dekha maine tujhko, mujhko shayari aa gayi. Main aashiq to nahin, magar ae haseen jab se dekha maine tujhko, mujhko aashiqui aa gayi," Aiden sang out as he walked into his house that evening.

His mom and dad used to sing that song to each other all the time before he died, Aiden signified this song with love and care. Aiden kept humming to himself not noticing his mom, Brynne and Rohan giving him odd looks as Aiden passed by.

Malini paused the episode of FRIENDS they were watching and the three of them watched Aiden with amused written all over their faces.

Aiden put his gun, phone and wallet down and flopped on the couch near Rohan, Brynne and Malini. He sighed dreamily and closed his eyes.

"You okay there, beta?" Malini asked, smiling at Aiden's behaviour along with Rohan and Brynne smirking.

Aiden nodded, still a dreamy smile on his face. "He's whipped af," Brynne whispered to Rohan making him muffle a laugh. "Seriously though," he whispered back.

"Soooo, how was it? Did Aru like it?" Malini asked even though she already knew the answer based on Aiden's behaviour.

"She loved it, Mom. She was smiling the whole time. She had an amazing time Mom! It was awesome Mom," Aiden exclaimed, opening his eyes that were twinkling with happiness.

"That's great, did you have a good time?" Malini asked

"Yeah! She was happy so of course, I had a great time," Aiden replied

"So when's the wedding?" Brynne asked with a smirk on her face.

Aiden grabbed a pillow and threw it at her head with a "Shut up Bee!" in a voice a couple of octaves higher than his regular one.

Brynne started laughing making her not catch the pillow, letting it hit her in the face. Rohan started cackling with laughter while Malini just stared at her son and her two un-biological kids in amusement.

"Who's gonna make me? Aiden's in wuvvvv! Aiden's got a girlfriend!" Brynne said in a sing-song voice as she danced around the living room.

Aiden got up from his spot on the couch and chased Brynne around the living room and kitchen as he tried to catch her. When he did, he wrapped his arms around her and squeezed. He started tickling her making Brynne wheeze with laughter, "I told you to be quiet Bee!" he jokingly said as he tickled her.

Rohan looked at his friends-more-like-siblings in entertainment as he laughed, "What dorks," he said as he jokingly rolled his eyebrows.

Malini teasingly pushed Rohan toward Brynne and Aiden and Rohan immediately had an idea. He looked at Aiden and Aiden slyly nodded. The two boys picked up their sister, threw her gently on the couch, and then started throwing pillows at her.

"What the heck Rohan!? I didn't do anything to you!" Brynne teased in between laughs as her two big brothers tickled her.

"Who cares?!" Rohan joked as he threw a final pillow at her.

Aiden and Rohan stopped as the three siblings caught their breath, still slightly laughing as Malini smiled at them in her motherly way.

"Alright guys, settle down," Malini said in a warning tone. The three young adults nodded and they all sat down to watch FRIENDS although Aiden's mind was still on Aru.
