It's crazy how in a split second, everything changes.

All time is valuable, any amount of it can be the difference between life and death, love and hate, rich and poor.

You could be living in poverty one second and then the next second, win the lottery.

You could be waiting to hear back from a job interview or a university application and then the next, you've won that opportunity.

You could be the grocery store pregnant and all of a sudden, your water breaks and you're becoming a mother.

Or you could be having a good time with your girlfriend, your family and your girlfriend's family and the next second two of your employees are shot dead in front of you.

At least, that's what had happened to Aiden Raat Acharya.

"Fuck! I thought we had a truce, Krithika!" Malini yelled from behind a table.

"We did until you decided to fuck it up!" Krithika yelled back, reloading her gun as she hid behind one of the couches.

"Us?! Who's agents are dead?!" Malini screamed

"I have nothing to do with this! It's my daughter's life, we're talking about! Why would I fuck that up?" Krithika shouted, shooting at another Kaali agent but missing.

"Wait, if we didn't do this and Dushman didn't either." Aiden murmured under his breath

"Who the fuck did?" Rohan mumbled, shooting at the Dushman agents.

Suyodhana cocked his gun and shot at Rohan, who had peeked above the sofa he was hiding behind. He didn't seem at all phased that a shootout had begun, in fact, Suyodhana seemed rather happy.

"Today's the day I win. Today's the day, where they die." Suyodhana said under his breath, no one have had heard him, except Aiden who was listening attentively.

"Fucking bitch! Did you hear what he just said?" Aiden demanded

"Yeah, what a little shit." Brynne answered

"Fucking asshole! It was him who did this! All of this!" Rohan hissed out, narrowly missing the bullet.

BANG BANG BANG

Aiden had taken out his own gun and shot three of the Dushman soldiers, killing them instantly. "That fucking bitch, he couldn't even let his own daughter be happy?" Aiden all but growled out.

"Mom, what's going on? I thought we called a truce." Aiden heard Noah say

"We did, however, it broke somehow." Krithika responded, throwing a questioning glance to her husband, who failed to notice.

Suyodhana cackled under his breath, "Today's the day."

"What dickheads." Noah said, taking out his gun, not hearing his father.

Brynne took a shot at Veer, who luckily dodged at the last second, however still allowing the bullet to penetrate his shoulder.

Noah looked up from his own defensive spot and stared straight at Brynne, shooting four of the Kaali gangsters as a warning.

BANG BANG BANG BANG

Aiden couldn't lie: Noah's aim was precise, all four bullets hit the carotid artery of each agent. Running towards Veer, Noah took out the other four Kaali agents and reloaded his gun, all within five seconds.
