Perfect Day For A Wedding.

It was a lovely day in Hell, the perfect day to be married. Lynx was getting ready to marry the girl he had been dating for twelve years now. She was energetic, kind, powerful, and beautiful. At least, to the public. With him, she was always scheming something dark. The red-head who came from a kingdom of war. Charlotte Phoenix, soon to be Valentine.

He smiled as he adjusted his tie and walked down the aisle, his best man behind him. The bells were ringing, not a moment too late. Nothing could ruin this day for him. The colors of scarlet, gold and black surround him. Charlotte chose the colors, but Lynx got to choose the theme, spiders. Not very many were there, only family and close friends. Guards were posted outside of the venue because a royal wedding would be perfect for a tragedy. This was a big day, and no one was more excited than Charlotte. Her sister, Lilith, designed the dress for her and was helping her get dressed. Squealing could be heard all through the halls. Charlotte wasn't a fan of big fancy things, so her dress was a simple blood-red, mermaid style dress with a slit up the side to her thigh. The blue necklace Lynx had given her years ago hangs from her neck. Her eyes glimmer as the doors open, her brother, Ivan, holding out his arm for her.

"Ready?" Ivan smiles as he asks.

"Nope! Let's do this!" Charlotte giggles and interlocks her arm with his.

Fly Me To The Moon begins to play as the doors of the venue open. Lynx and Charlotte's hearts pound as time seems to slow. Every step felt like an eternity. Anxiety creeping up both of their backs as they think about what is yet to come.

Four steps. BEEP.

Five Steps. BEEP.

BEEP.

Will someone turn that off?

The world begins to fade away, the two staring at one another in adoration. Lynx's smile widens as she steps up in front of him. Cupid stands between them, book in hand.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate the joining of two hearts, souls, and kingdoms. The bride and groom have chosen to write their own vows, Charlotte would you like to start?" Cupid questions. Charlotte nods and grabs Lynx's hands.

"Lynx Valentine. People say talking to you is like talking to a brick wall. Sometimes, I agree. Yet you're the wall that keeps me bordered from insanity. The years we've spent together have been filled with mistakes, mishaps, and misunderstandings. I can't wait to make a million more mistakes with you."

Cupid looks to Lynx and nods. Lynx's smile is wavering, what's with that sound?

"Charlotte Phoenix, without you, I would probably be a recluse and a workaholic. I'm glad you took the time to just talk to me, whether it seemed like I was listening or not, I was and am happy to have the company. I'm glad it's you up here." He finishes, and she squeezes his hands gently. Two golden bands appear upon a pillow.

"With these rings, you will swear your lives to one another. To have to hold, in sickness and in health. Charlotte, do you take Lynx to be your lawfully wedded husband." Cupid asks with glee.

"I do." She puts the ring on his finger. This was almost too good to be true, she'll be spending the rest of her life with the man of her dreams.

"Lynx, do you take Charlotte to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Everyone knows the answer. Why else would they choose such a perfect day for a wedding?

"I-"

System Reset.

Booting up. . .

The world fades to black as the alarm rings out. Lynx groggily burns the alarm clock and looks to the empty side of his bed, he feels a bit sad, wasn't someone supposed to be there?

"What the hell was that..."
