Lynx finishes counting the gold, and looks back to her, in a shocked kind of state
“You have more than enough for the necklace,” He walks out of the counter area and to the necklace, somewhat happy someone wanted to buy it. Pulling the necklace out of its case he turns to the girl, “Would you like me to wrap it?”
She shakes her head, “No, I’m intending on wearing it back home,” She says, proudly, “Though I must ask, who made it?”
Lynx tenses, caught off guard by the question, but quickly regains his posure.
“I did, miss,” He says in a monotone voice, but his attitude is soon wiped out as the redhead’s infectious smile finally hits.
“You made this? Wait, how much in here did you make, or is this the only thing?” Her excitement fills the room. Lynx looks around, he’s used to compliments on the shop and its items, but this one made the entire shop light up for him. “I made most of the stuff in here, including some of the cases,” He tries to keep his monotonous voice, but a hint of joy betrays it. She looks around in awe, then back to him.
"That's incredible, all this stuff is so lovely," Her eyes are lit up like a candle, "What's your name?" She says, offering out a hand.
“Lynx, yours?” He shakes it and hands her the necklace.
“Rose, pleasure to meet you, Lynx,” She immediately puts on the necklace, “You have a lovely shop, I look forward to another visit.”
The girl with her glares at Lynx, she obviously never wanted to see this place or him again, so she whispers something to Rose. Rose looks to Lynx then her companion, “What does it matter? His work is amazing and his race has nothing to do with that,” Rose states with a blank look on her face, “Besides, monster, human, or fish, we’re all just around to have fun,” She shrugs and lightly pats her friend on the arm. Lynx looks at her in surprise, a public display of neutrality, much less from someone supposedly rich, was uncommon. He looks between the two as Rose drags her out, trying to say thank you, but can’t get it out loud enough. “Thank you,” He softly mumbles smiling weakly at her as they both walk away from the shop.
