It was a beautiful day, the wind blew a soft breeze in the sails of the ship, men chatted and laughs. All was peaceful.
A young golden haired lady sits on the deck, looking outward to the sparkling blue sea, the sun giving it a bright shimmer. The two princes sit with her arguing about her land.
"A lady of her stature would come from a large kingdom with more mechanicals than land." The raven haired boy growls at his brother.
"She's too handy to not have been raised on farmland with a port and small town." The scarlett red head says in almost a shout.
The lady rolls her eyes and shuts them up.
"I come from a village with farms and mechanical tools. I'm handy because home needs both men and women to support it. I know my manners since I am often sent on diplomatic missions with my brother." She speaks proudly. The princes look at one another, then back to her, nodding. The peace was broken by a man shouting, a storm was brewing. All were going to be needed.
The storm whipped and whirled around. Waves threatened to plunge the ship into the depths. Shouts could barely be heard over the noise. The crew did their best to keep the ship stable, all hands were on deck. A young general, not much older than the princes, l had gotten the young princes and the young lady into a small part of the ship, it was an emergency room made to survive anything nature threw at it. This storm was unexpected, but they knew they couldn't have smooth sailing all the way to their destination. No one knew why this storm was called against them, but they did their best to survive it.
I am sorrowful to report, they tried in vain.
Only four survived. The boat was in pieces. Their safe room was barely intact, but it had proven itself worth of its name. Cassie woke up first, her golden hair filled with sand and sea water.
Cassie's POV:
I take a look around to find broken pieces of wood and rubble washing ashore, the beach line ends not too far away, revealing a forested area with emerald green grass, amber leaves, and odd looking wildflowers in an assortment of colors. The eldest prince seemed to have washed up a few feet away from me, he's still out for the moment. I poke him in an attempt to wake him up, he opens an eye and swats at my hand.
"Leave me be, I'm awake." He says groggily.
I laugh lightly and offer him a hand up. He stands on his own and looks around.Third POV:
A figure watches from the water, her eyes filled with curiousity about the two strangers. Cassie starts walking off to the woods to gather supplies. Lynx feels eyes on him and looks around, the girl's voice rings a warning of the isle. Lynx's eyes rest on the girl's face.
"Beware the creatures of the isle, pain and suffering they desire." She says then dives into the water.
He turns back to Cassie and joins her, shaking off the oddity.
