Characters are Salem and Flame, with a mention of Lynx.
Creator of Lynx and Salem: Wolfiechan_quack
Creator of Flame: Me
Third POV:
It’s just another day in hell, screams of pain, torture, and the princes of hell bickering. Their arguing was a common occurrence. One couldn’t stand to be weak, and the other wanting to leave the fiery pits. On this particular day, though, the youngest gets his big break. For today, his father will send him to a school of royals. Away from hell and away from his brother.Salem POV:
Finally, a break away from Lynx. I step into the stalled carriage, waving goodbye. A portal opens, the coachman leads the horse through. It’s bright in the realm, people smiling and waving at one another, children playing on the sidewalk. I smile and think, ‘Maybe this won’t be too bad.’ The carriage halts in front of a large building, covered with diamonds.
‘Pretty,’ I think, stepping out. I use my magic to levitate my bags in with me. I get some stares from the girls around, doing my best to ignore them, I go to my assigned dorm.Third POV:
Salem walks into the empty dorm, taking note of the other room being locked and burnt.
The bell rings, calling for the end of the school day as an announcement of a ball. Salem sets his things down in his room and decides to look around.Flame POV:
I hum as I pack my things into my bag, ‘Why does chemistry have to be my last class?’ I mentally groan and wipe the odd substance off my face. A tap on my shoulder gets my attention; it’s a girl from my class. ‘Here we go again,’ I think to myself as she speaks up.
“H-hi, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me?” She asks.
“I….uh..I eh,” I put on my best smile to hide my panic. She looks at me, confused.
“You don’t have to be rude about it,” She storms out, obviously going to tell her friends.
I’ve never been one for girls, but I hate hurting people’s feelings. I sigh and grab my bag, walking out of the class.Third POV:
The two walk by each other, not taking note of one another. Flame keeps walking until he reaches the dorm. As he walks in, he sees the separate room is back in use. ‘Odd, wonder who it is,’ he shrugs and unlocks his room, stepping in. Setting down his bag, Flame gets changed for the dance.
The clock strikes eight, signaling the start of the dance.Salem POV:
As I’m looking around the school, I step into the library. It’s spotless, and no one seems to be here, so I sit and read.Flame POV:
The voting for Supreme Royalty ends, I start walking to the library to get away from people.
I step in and look for a book. That’s when I hear a cough. I check the time in a panic, ‘No one’s normally here at this time, crap, I came here to avoid people.’ I hide behind a shelf, dropping my book on accident.Third POV:
Salem looks up and around, after hearing a soft thud.
“Hello, is someone there?” Salem questions, getting no answer.
Flame is in a panic as Salem approaches the shelf his hiding behind, looking around for a way to leave unnoticed. Using his magic, Flame creates a distraction, knocking down a book on the other side of the library. It catches Salem’s attention, and he goes to check it out, giving Flame a chance to run. He happily takes it and runs out and back to his dorm, locking himself inside.Salem POV:
I find the book and put it back, catching a glimpse of a red-headed boy running out of the library,‘That was odd,’ I think and decide to go back to my dorm.Third POV:
Salem gets back to the dorm, hearing rustling in the other room and knocks on the door.
The rustling stops for a moment, and a muffled voice says, “One moment!” before a loud thud and a quiet ‘ow.’
The door opens slowly, revealing a redhead. Little did they know, their creators are shippers, and they will soon end up as a couple.
