"Are sure you're going to be alright?" Kei asked worriedly, staring at the other girl as she slid her a cup of tea.
Kira simply laughed at the question, "who knows? If your vision is correct, it might be the end of me after all."
She seemed nonchalant about it at first glance, that was what both Kei and Akaashi thought as the woman sipped her tea in oddly comfortable silence, but there was definitely more to it. It wasn't as if they didn't notice how she forced her smile or how her lips twitch every time they mentioned the whole ordeal. They knew she's scared, and it's only natural to be.
"But now that we know your vision is the real deal, it might be able to help us, one way or another," Kira remarked, stirring her half-empty cup with her finger before gulping down its content, "again, I'm really sorry to drag you both into our problem."
"It's not as if we can let an innocent woman be judged wrongly," Kei's gentle smile reassured her, pulling her out of misery even for a little while. The two nobles of Seijoh excused themselves not long after, leaving both Kira and Suna alone for another private discussion.
"You're not going to mention the 'necklace'?" Suna started, breaking the silence. Kira's lips tugged slightly upwards, contrasting the looks she held in her eyes, "if she was yet to know about it, then I doubt Kunimi would have anything to say about it. Let's leave it at that."
"For now," Suna warned her, "no more running away, you promised."
"No more running away, I promise."

Atsumu tousled his hair in frustration, his nails digging into his scalp as he groaned loudly, "and you just told me now?"
"You were with Her Grace yesterday, I wouldn't want to freak you out," Osamu rolled his eyes, fumbling around with the letter in his hands, "you might not believe it, but I do care about your wellbeing."
"Then you should have told me sooner, 'Samu," Atsumu hissed, "Kita, how do you suggest we proceed?"
"I'd say it'd be best to let them handle it," Kita suggested, nodding to the other officials in the room, "how do you suggest we proceed?
The king fell silent, his eyes boring holes onto the wooden desk in his study. Atsumu might be brash at times, and it's no secret to the servants in the castle, but when it comes to deciding for his kingdom, he does it for the sake of his subjects. Osamu admires that, but it wasn't as if he'd admit it.
It took him a while to decide, and Atsumu did put a lot of thought into it. It wasn't ideal, but that's the only option they had, which they consider to be the last resort. Now that the enemies are boldly challenging them though, peace is no longer an option, "Aran, get our troops ready, we're moving on to the next phase."

"I can't believe you actually kill Lord Clerebald!" Octavia screamed in frustration, stomping her feet childishly as she went back and forth. Loretta merely shrugged as a response, "his family contributes the most to this land, and so?"
"What would you know? You're nowhere close to a royal!"
Loretta rolled her eyes, shifting her attention to the crow perching on the large window, a letter tied to its neck. She undid the knot of the ribbon, her fingers carefully unwinding the parchment to reveal the content. Loretta smirked before roaring in laughter, startling both the dowager queen and the crow, who flew away in response.
"He is indeed an interesting lad, isn't he?" She exclaimed, her index finger pointing to the crow, far off in the distance before sniping at it, the crow eventually burning into ashes, bright blue flames illuminating the pitch-black sky as the poor animal let out a horrifying screech, "let's see what you have in store for us, Your Majesty."
