"Tyranny? The King? The townsfolks sure are busy with gossips, are they not?"

The glare that the Dowager Queen shot towards each of the ones present in the room sent shivers down their spine. Clearly, she was in no way delighted. The Dowager Queen then sighed before sitting on the chair, her fingers pinching the bridge of her nose as she shook her head. Sora watched it unfolded silently, finding no worth in saying anything.

Lord General Akaashi Kenzo looked down towards the floor, the words of the Ambassador clearly did not sit well with him. To him, the late King Lucas was nothing but respectable, his actions were all to the best of his subjects. Even so, he understood truly the opinions of the plebeian. His Majesty King did rush to go to the battle with the Kingdom of Caveil, and it puzzled his council greatly. The raven-haired male shook his head lightly before meeting the eyes of the rest of the council, earning light nods from them before he spoke, "If I may, her highness?"

Dowager Queen Octavia nodded at his request, urging the commander to continue. Said male then proceeded to clear his throat, his eyes lingering on the late King's advisor as he talked, "It is to our knowledge that the late King's will was to be read to the presence of the Dowager Queen and the heir to the throne, and His Majesty tasked his most trustworthy advisor to read it"

The Queen Dowager proceeded to straighten herself, her arms motioning to let the advisor do the talking. Sora nodded at his late father's advisor as a sign of readiness to be presented with the information as well. Lord Frederick proceeded to unroll the piece of the parchment paper he had been holding his hand, readying himself to read the will.

"Number one, the throne was to be inherited by his eldest sons, daughters and his descendants before his brothers and sisters.

Number two, the new ruler shall pick the members of the new council by the approval of the late His Majesty's council.

Number three, His Majesty's council is to be disbanded as soon as the new king or queen is crowned.

Number four, by tradition, only descendants of the royal blood were to inherit the throne. Not even the betrothed of the king or queen is allowed to rule in their place.
