Disappointed, Asami slammed close the book she was holding before resting her head on the table, earning a chuckle from her companion. Sugawara placed the book he was reading back onto the shelf before taking a seat across her, tilting his head to take a glance of the woman's face, "Then? Is it finally time to go to the ballroom?"
Exasperated, Asami slammed on the table before picking up another book from the pile standing next to her before aggressively turning the pages, "What is it with you insisting to have me at the ballroom? It's nothing formal, I don't have to go"
Sugawara chuckled lightly before blowing the candle out, earning a groan in response, "The queen insisted for you to be there, so you'll have to be there"
"Fine, I get it, but do you really have to blow out the candles?"
"Knowing how stubborn you are sometimes, trust me, yes"
"Let's just go"

"There you are," Asami saw Sora's smile widened as she saw them walking near, clearly delighted to see the two.
Glancing behind the queen, the blue-haired girl saw the commander and the queen's advisor behind her, making her feeling slightly guilty of having them all waiting for her late arrival. Despite the guilt, she kept on a stern expression as she addressed the queen, "Why the need to summon me, Your Grace?"
Sora let out a small laugh as she gestured towards the rest of her companions, "I have the rest of the Queen's Council with me, and obviously I want to introduce my most capable counsels to my guests"
Asami's eyes widened before blushing slightly, not expecting a compliment from the queen. For a split second, Sora's eyes met Sugawara's, who then quickly diverted his gaze before her smile widened, "To add, it was a favour someone asked of me, and it was too sweet of a request for me to decline"
Just as the ambassador was thinking of having her elaborate, the large twin door was opened before the spokesperson announced the presence of the queen to the guests in the ballroom. Reminding herself to ask her of it later, Asami proceeded to walk behind the future queen as she introduced herself to the nobles.
