"I am sorry I have to put a burden on you boys, But I can't keep her alone in the apartment" Rex rolled his eyes. "She is eighteen, I think she can easily live on her own." Alex gave him a side-eye as Emma sat with a frown upon her face.

"We can take care of her, It's cool," Kaden said drinking his coke. "But why are you so worried about this girl?" "You weren't this concerned when you adopted-" Alex slapped Rex on his head causing Rex to go for a punch but Kaden stopped him as Emma sat there with wide eyes.

"I wasn't because I know you are strong honey. She is a very timid girl. I have known her for three years now, She had problems speaking. I had to teach her to be comfortable around people. I know you all will look after her well. So -"

"You don't have to worry about her, She will be safe here"

But Safe? What did Theo mean by being safe? Rex stared at Theo as he never met anyone's gaze.

Theo knew something the other didn't but no one questioned.

"When will you bring her here?" Alex asked. "Oh, This Thursday?" Kaden nodded.

"Oh, she goes in your college," Emma said taking her phone and scrolling through something after she pointed at Rex and Kaden.

They both stared at the picture, Kaden's eyes lingered upon her for another minute as he leaned his head back and sighs.

"Either way, It doesn't matter what we do. Cause it's her decision to choose one of us if we get serious. Get it? Us fighting would change shit" Alex added
