Chapter Nineteen

I let my hair down, grabbing a brush and brushing my slight curls. I always thought straight hair would suit me better, But the very subtle curls I got at the very end of my hair strands always made me smile. I wondered if it was normal to have straight hair from the root but then curl at the ends. 

I reminded myself to trim the ends before they got any longer. Any longer, and they would be touching my bum. I grab a bow and clip it behind my head with a few strands. 

I was nervous, I didn't know if this dress was proper for the nighttime. It gave me summer vibes. It was shorter than the first time I wore it. And tighter. I give a disappointed sigh, this was my 'The Dress' but now that my chest grew bigger, it showed a little skin of my chest, It was tighter too. 

Pulling it up and covering my cleavage I smile being satisfied. I never thought I would adore my figure. All though my height wasn't good. I worked out a little to keep any extra fat away from me. 

"I think It's hard to stay away if Kaden keeps making yummy meals every day"  whispered grabbing my new phone and switching the lights off. 

I walked down to see Alex at the counter texting on his phone. I just felt a flip in my stomach as I remember yesterday's scene. He was wearing a simple button-up shirt with jeans. But that was enough to show his fit figure and muscles. I bite my lip putting my hands behind my back and walking shyly towards him. It didn't take him long to see me. 

He snapped his eyes to me and he just stared at me for a second. 

"H-hey baby" He stutter, I was shocked. Did I look bad? Or did I wear something too tight? 

Too late in asking him about the unknown expression he had, he walked towards me, wrapping his hand around my waist and pulling me to his chest. His lips fell on my cheeks as my chest brushed over his soft chest making me feel funny everywhere. 

"Do I look okay ?" I asked and he smiled. 

"Should I change?" I ask even though I had no good dresses to wear, But If I had to, I could just wear another one which was long and covered me better. 

"No-You look good," He said grabbing my face and titling it, I fist my hand over his shirt. Waiting for his lips to touch my neck and give me shocks everywhere but he froze. 

"You were with Theo, no?" I look at him as he sat on the counter chair pulling me between his legs, I let my hands rest over his shoulder without any questions. 

"That explains why I didn't see you when I came back."  I heard his whisper. 

"Yes-um, I was," I said, I felt like he was angry. Why wouldn't he be? I was with Theo, even though I promised him I would give him my cake by evening. That cake was still unfrosted and sitting in the glass container. 

"I am sorry," I said looking down. "Why?" 

"I promised you that I would bake a cake for you, but I-" He chuckled, A gasp leaving my mouth as he pinched my bum. "As long as you feed me your cake, later on, I will be happy." I gulp staring at his hand. That sound's dirty for some reason. Maybe I am the one who has a dirty mind. Gosh!

That silver watch looked really good on him. 

It made his hand look attractive.

"You aren't mad with me for being with Theo?" I whispered. The last thing I wanted was for him to get mad at me. I was already scared of being on anyone's bad side. And I really liked spending time with Alex. But he just rubbed his hand on my waist. 

"Why would I be mad?" He asked, I sucked in a rough breath as he kissing me right under my breasts. Almost like teasing me. 

"It was his day with you. I was mad I didn't get to see your face before I left for work thou. Kaden pulled you in the car for college before I could wake up. That fucker" 

I giggle. My giggles turned into chuckles as I saw his childish side come forward. No matter how big and bold he looked. Like an Adult that he was, he was always childish near us. 

His soft blond hair brushed on my chest as I touch it. It was so soft. 

"Your hair is pretty-" I almost slap myself, "Colour, I mean cool color, or-like very nice-" I correct myself, I don't think any guy would like being called 'pretty' in any terms. I once used pretty as a term for a classmate's eyes and he got angry. I never tried it again. 

But while I was busy explaining myself Alex dipped his head back and the soft pinch on my nipple made me yelp in shock. Looking in his eyes as he smirked in pride. 

"Thanks, babe." I just bite down my lip at the tingling feeling left on my breast. 

We waited for Rex as he got back from his friend's house. I walk out the door and look at the dark sky when his bike came into my view. I watch him take his helmet off and then his gloves and suddenly I noticed something new. 

As he came closer and closer, I stare at him. I never knew he has so many piercings. 

"What are you doing outside?" he asked but I was busy admiring his black and silver earnings, he had three in each ear, I blink in surprise as I saw a lip ring, two black pendants on his neck but one with a flower as a pendant, caught my attention. I wondered if he got that a gift, from someone special. 

"Rex-" I greet him as he rose his eyebrows. 

"I didn't know you wear rings-" What are they called again? Lip rings? Right? Before I could talk he replied. 

"Ya, I got 'em long ago. You don't like them?" I shook my head immediately. 

"No! they make you look cool. I really liked them" He smiled softly earning my attention to his pretty eyes. They were like Emma's. He had her eyes. I hardly saw any features of her in Kaden.

"Um- we were waiting for you-" 

"Oh, sorry I am late. I'll go change" I nodded, the moment he opened the door we both heard Kaden. "Oh, you are finally here. How bout being considerate and coming early? next time we'll leave you behind" 

"Don't give a fuck" Rex's cold voice made its way out towards Kaden as he walked past him. Kaden cursed behind him but noticed me. 

"Rosie, what are you doing outside?" 

"I just wanted to see the sky" He rose his eyebrows. The sudden smirk on his face confused me. "Oh, you'll get to see the sky all you want while we eat" He replied making me even more confused. Perhaps the restaurant was on a higher floor? 

"Let's go, I am in need of a heavy drink bro," Kaden said as Alex unlocked his car. Alex laughed opening the car door and pulling his car out the driveway. I wait for Rex as Kaden pats me once on my head teasing me as walk to the car. 

"Yo," Rex said and I smiled but frown as I noticed the cut on the very end of his cheek. 

How did I not see that?

"You-" Before I could speak any further words and touch the cut his hand wrapped around mine. 

"What are you doing?" Cold. His voice was cold and harsh. I gulp pulling my hand back and looking down. 

"S-Sorry, I thought you got hurt" He touched his cut and seemed like he realized something. "Oh, that's nothing. Don't worry about it" He said patting my head and put his hands in his pockets as he walked out. 

I stare at him when the sudden air behind my ears made me shiver. my body jumped a little as I look behind me at Theo. "What are you doing standing here?" I shook my head blushing a feeling hot near him. 

Rex sat at the front, his phone giving Alex directions as I sat between Kaden and Theo. 

"What do you happen at the range?" Alex asked as Rex started talking about some things I didn't understand. I let my headspace out when all of sudden my stupid mind started imagining today's and yesterday's scenario's in my head making me all hot and bothered. 

"So Primrose. Whatcha did all evening? finished the work we had?" Kaden suddenly asked making me freeze like a popstickle. 

I laughed slightly looking away, "N-Nothing much" I whispered. 

"Nothing much huh" Theo whispered beside me.
