Alyse smirked at Roman's words. "Well, another way that you can prove to me that you're being truthful is, you could let me kill her."

"What," Miranda screeched.

"What? Alyse my love; do you hear yourself? Do you realize what you're truly saying? Surely you don't mean any of it," Roman said trying to calm the rage that was burning deep within his wife.

"Oh Roman, I know exactly what I'm saying. If this little tramp means nothing to you, then you wouldn't have an issue if I were to kill her, unless you're lying to me; and you truly do harbor feelings for this pathetic bitch. If that's the case, then I'm going back to my family home; that way I don't have to sit around witnessing my husband cheat on me like I mean nothing to him. Those are your only options Roman. What's it going to be," Alyse asked growing impatient with Roman.

I can't lose my wife. I won't lose her. I won't allow Miranda to come between Alyse and I...not when Alyse is finally accepting me, Roman thought to himself. "My love, you know I love you more than anything in the world. But if you're going to kill our house guest, all I ask is that you allow me to join in on the fun."

"Since you put it like that, I can't deny you. You can help me kill her," Alyse said before she and Roman bit into Miranda's neck, causing blood to come pouring out, making Miranda's screams last only a few seconds. Roman and Alyse happily feasted on the gushing blood, not caring that they are making a mess of themselves with. Alyse pulled away not caring that she was now covered in blood. She was simply happy that the unwanted house guest was gone. Roman pulled away shortly after dropping Miranda's body as he observed the way Alyse looked covered in blood. It did something to him on the inside. It made him feel more, alive. Roman took a step closer gaining Alyse's attention.

"What," Alyse asked.

Roman continued to stare at her before pulling Alyse in for a passionate kiss. Alyse returned the kiss before pulling away, pulling Roman's head down so his forehead rested upon her own. "What was that for?"

"It's my way of saying that I love you with all of my being. You truly do make me happy, even if you have run away from me before; all because of my own stupidity. I admit it was wrong for how I went about things in the past. I just hope that you have managed to find it in your heart to forgive me for being so stupid," Roman said.

Alyse pulled Roman in for a quick kiss before pulling away smiling. "I forgive you Roman. I'm sorry that I made it so difficult for you. You only wanted to be with me, since we are mates. I didn't want to believe that before. But I need you to understand I was hurt, confused and scared. I was confused because I couldn't understand why you did the things you did. I was hurt because any boy who had shown interest in me one day, suddenly avoided me like I had a disease or something the next. I was scared because I had you following me everywhere; then you did what you did without explaining to me why you did it. I didn't even know that you and I were Upirs. I didn't know that we had a certain ability to make people do things just by staring them in the eye."

"I didn't know what we were either until, Olivia drove me to kill myself. When I opened my eyes, I was confused as to why I was waking up again, gasping for a breath; when I should have been dead. It wasn't until I heard Olivia speak up that I knew I was going to get an explanation for my ability, and why I felt the need to keep other males away from you...everything," Roman said. Roman saw the look of confusion on Alyse's face and realize why she acted the way she did before. "Your parents never told you about you being part Upir. Your father kept that a secret from you all this time. Did he make any plans to tell you about what you are?"

"My father raised me as a normal human child. He even tried to act normal himself to keep me from piecing together everything. He didn't want me to know about this. But why would he do that? I hate Destiny for killing my father before I could get any answers from him. If only I had learned the truth before that whore killed my father. Maybe then I would have been able to find peace," Alyse said.
