Norman's jaw dropped at the news that Olivia had let slip out. "Did you just say that Roman and Alyse have a baby together? When the hell did this happen? When the hell did Roman get married? Why wasn't Marie and I invited to the wedding, let alone informed that our only nephew was going to become a father?"

"If it makes you feel any better, I didn't find out about my grandson until after mother and son were released from the hospital," Olivia said in a sour tone.

"Why would Roman want to keep your grandson a secret from you? What have you done to anger him this time," Norman asked.

"I didn't do anything wrong to anger Roman. Besides he's the one who chooses to listen to his bitch wife. If she didn't say anything to Roman, then I'm pretty sure that Alyse has gotten into Roman's head convincing him that I'm not good enough to learn about the birth of my grandchild. She's making me wait to meet my grandson. She wants to take this time to rest and bond with her new son and my son," Olivia seethed out.

"Olivia now is an important time for Alyse and Roman. Both of them are new parents. They are going to need this time to bond with their son. I know you feel hurt by not being told that you're now a grandma, but you're just going to have to accept that this is what they want to do with their son. Once they are ready, they will allow you a moment with your son," Norman tried explaining to Olivia.

"Do you think you can call Roman and have a little talk with him? If anyone can get through to Roman, it's you. Please, tell me that you will call Roman and talk some sense into my son," Olivia asked.

Norman let out a sigh hoping that he wouldn't regret the decision that he was about to make. "I will see what I can do. Keep in mind though, that it's not a guaranteed thing that Roman will listen to anything that I have to say."

"All I ask is that you try. Try and get through to my son and get him to see that he is now being manipulated by his whore of a wife," Olivia said.

"While I talk to Roman, you try and work on playing nice with Alyse. Because if you call her any horrible name, it will end your chances of ever spending any time with your new grandson," Norman said before hanging up the phone. Oh god this is one big mess. Why do I always allow myself to get sucked into this kind of drama that Olivia always sets up for herself, Norman thought to himself.

Norman waited five minutes before picking up his phone, dialing Roman's number. Norman sat patiently listening as the phone rang. Norman was about to hang up when he heard the voice of his nephew on the other line.

"To what do I owe the honor of receiving a phone call from you, Norman," Roman greeted.

"Roman, I received an interesting phone call from your dealing mother," Norman said.

"And what did Olivia have to say," Roman said uninterested in having to hear what Olivia had to say to his uncle. For all Roman knew Olivia was spewing lies about him and his wife.

"Your mother said that you are now a father. So, I would like to take a moment to welcome you to the lovely world of fatherhood," Norman started off.

"Thank you," Roman said. "Why don't you go and get to the point of this conversation? I don't have all day to sit around beating around the bush. I am a busy man."

"I understand Roman. Running the White Tower is quite a handful. Now adding onto the fact that you are a father and husband now. Anyway, your mother said that she didn't find out that she was a grandmother until after your wife was discharged from the White Tower. Is there any particular reason as to why you decided to wait so long to say anything," Norman asked.
