Chapter 23

Roman pulled out pulling out of Alyse fixing his pants and belt, before grabbing a napkin from the cabinet, wiping Alyse clean before placing her back into the bed. "Are you going to be a good wife and shoe me the respect that I deserve?"

"Yes. I will do anything you want, as long as you don't rape me in front of our son like that again," Alyse said.

"You have nothing to worry about my beautiful wife. I won't force myself on you again. I can see that you will think twice before having a go at me like you did before. You will think twice before making any attempt of disrespecting me like that again. We won't teach our children that it is okay to disrespect me or you. If they should disrespect either of us, they will be punished as I see fit," Roman said making it clear that there is no room for her to argue with him.

Alyse simply nodded her head not bothering to look at Roman. Alyse climbed under the covers trying her hardest not to allow the feeling of disgust take over. She didn't want any of the doctors or nurses growing suspicious of what had taken place. "I don't want to stay in the white tower any longer."

"We both know that Dr. Pryce won't allow you or our son to leave the hospital before he gives you a clean bill of health. He only wants to keep you and our son just to make sure nothing happens to either of you," Roman said.

"And you are the one who signs Dr. Pryce's checks to do his damn job. Isn't there anyway that you can get it through his skull that it would be best that both Calix and I go home and rest there? The both of us would be much more comfortable. That and I will feel much more at ease resting in my own home, without annoying nurses, who come marching in every hour or so just to check on our son and I. If you can convince Dr. Pryce to allow Calix and I to go home early, I will forgive you for what you had done to me. Please, for me," Alyse asked while giving her best sad look.

Roman tried his best to ignore the sad look, knowing that it was working on him. "I'll see what I can do. No promises that Dr. Pryce will go along with your request."

"Try your best to convince him to allow me to leave. I don't want to stay here any longer than I have to," Alyse said.

Roman smiled thinking about what Alyse said before speaking up. "If I do this, you would seriously forgive me for giving into my sexual desire?"

"Yes. I know that it's hard to contain yourself. And you felt that I was overstepping my boundaries by saying all that I did. Though I probably shouldn't have said what I did. But I couldn't help myself. My hormones are still all over the place. It may take some time for everything to go back to normal. I will try my best to keep from snapping on you," Alyse said.

"You are forgiven. But keep in mind that I won't tolerate your attitude. You speak to me like that again, you might not like the punishment that I have planned for you," Roman warned.

"I will be a good little wife to you. I only want to get out of here as soon as I can. I don't want to risk another nurse coming in here, thinking that they can take calix out of my sight," Alyse said.

"Why don't you allow the nurses to go anywhere near Calix? You know they are only trying to do their job," Roman asked.

"I don't care what they are trying to do, they will not take our son away from me. Please go find Dr. Pryce so I can get out of here as soon as I can," Alyse asked.

"Right. I shall be back. Don't try to kill any of the nurses while I'm gone," Roman said.

"I make no promises on that one. If anyone tries to take our son out of my sight, I will be on them like a lioness on her prey," Alyse said to Roman before he walked out of the room. I really hope that Dr. Pryce will release Alyse and Calix today. Granted I know she had just given birth, but if any more nurses try and take Calix away from her, she won't hesitate to kill them, Roman thought to himself as he was searching the halls for any sign of Dr. Pryce.
