Peter drove to a secluded place before parking the car and turning it off. "Are you truly happy with Roman?"
"What the hell are you trying to get at," Alyse asked hoping that Peter wouldn't see through the act.
"I just want to know the truth, Alyse. You used to run away; or talk about leaving Roman and Hemlock Grove behind, so you could find a place that truly made you happy," Peter said knowing he was breaking Alyse down.
Alyse sighed. "There is no point in me running away now. Roman and I are married. He turned me into a monster! Even If I were to set foot out of Hemlock Grove, he will be there to stop me. I have no choice but to face the facts, Peter. I'm stuck by Roman's side until death. I'll never be free of him now."
"But you can be free of him; if you let me help you. We can get as far away from Hemlock Grove as possible. We can start a life together like we always talked about, when we first got together," Peter said.
Alyse gave Peter a shocked look. "You still want me, even though I was a bitch towards your cousin, and have been turned into a monster?"
"No matter what I will always want you. I know the bitch thing was an act to make Roman happy. As for you being a monster you're not. You're anything but a monster. Did you forget that I'm a werewolf," Peter asked while laughing.
Alyse laughed a little as well. "How could I forget? I watched you transform on so many occasions. Besides that, you were always a beast in bed. But in a good way. You made me feel loved."
"I can still make you feel loved. Just agree to run away with me. We can start a beautiful life together. Roman would never find you," Peter said.
"No matter where in the world I go, Roman will always find me. Besides, you already have enough to worry about...like gathering the money to bail your mom out of jail. Why don't you take the money Roman offered you? You could have bailed Lynda out of jail and started over new," Alyse said.
"Because, if I had accepted the bail money from Roman, then I would have had to give up saving you from Roman; as well as having to leave Hemlock Grove and never return again. I couldn't bring myself to leave you behind, knowing the hell that you would have to endure, if I took that deal with Roman," Peter explained.
"Damnit Peter! You could have had the money to get Lynda and start over new! You didn't have to go and give all of that up because of me. I would have found a way to escape Roman, even if it was only for temporary," Alyse said before sighing. "Peter, you shouldn't have passed up that chance to save Lynda. The both of you would have been set to start somewhere new."
"It wouldn't mean a damn thing to me, Alyse! It would have haunted me every day and night, how I left you behind to live in a loveless marriage with Roman. He doesn't see you as anything more than a damn possession. Is that really the kind of life you want to live," Peter asked.
"What damn choice to I have now Peter?!? I'm married to the damn guy. I can't go running around behind his back like a horny school girl. I need to do the right thing and respect my vows to my husband," Alyse said.
"Alyse, you were forced into this marriage. That is not considered healthy. Roman is obsessed with you, and keeping control over you. That's not love. That is sick and twisted. If left alone long enough it could turn into something dangerous. Do you want to have to keep looking over your shoulder constantly, fearing that Roman is plotting something to punish you, because you did something to displease him? Because at some point it's going to happen. And we both know that, Roman doesn't hold back with his punishments," Peter pointed out.
