A week.

It's been a week and she's still not awake I've been sitting by her side the ventilator connected to her mouth. Doctors been coming in cleaning her cuts, checking the monitors she's connected up to, and they come in if she has done any progress. Everyone has been coming in everyday for a couple of hours but I've been here since the day they let us come see her.

Her sister Lia's been here as well laying on the couch asleep or either talking to me about herself. I've learned a lot about her I mean a lot I never knew little kids can talk so much but that's what their made for. Riley's been doing better they took out the tube for her to breathe on her own.

"My favorite color is purple like in the rainbow ... my favorite food are French fries from Mc. Donald's they are so good !" Lia's talking gets me out of my thoughts looking over she's on the couch swinging her feet back and forth giggling to herself. Is she okay ?

"Do you like Mc. Donald's ?" She questions running over to me I chuckle picking her up putting her on my lap she giggles more booping my nose.

"I'll call Ryder to bring you some fries from Mc. Donald's. How's that ?"I ask putting her back on the feet she nods eagerly giggling to herself she runs back to the couch sitting back down.

I'm suppose to be meeting Leonardo today in a couple of hours. I have to tell him about Christopher and where he's at or I end up dead. It would be peaceful to be gone but I have a life now and I met knew people so it doesn't really matter.

"Hey Ethan what's up ?" Ryders asks after he picks up letting out a chuckle looking over at Lia still swinging her legs back and forth she grins before going back to the TV watching Hannah Montana.

"Yeah can you bring Mc. Donald's for Lia she has a fry fetish." I whisper the last part with a chuckle running my hand through my hair.

"She does." Someone starts coughing looking to my right Riley lays there blinking a couple of times to get used to the light letting out a gasp I put the phone down.

"Riley." I whisper looking over she gives me my favorite grin sitting up she groans looking over at Lia turning my head Lia in shock she runs over to her sister jumping onto the bed crawling to her tears running down her face.

She's awake. She's awake! The butterflies in my stomach watching the stomach on my face seeing her hold her sister in her arms. Her smiling at me and I never knew I can smile this much in my life. She chuckles hold sing her sisters face in her hands tears going down her cheeks falling onto her lap. Lia giggling into the crook of Riley's neck. Her still smiling I smile back seeing her happy.

I've never been this happy in my life than Riley waking up but she's happy I'm happy. I never knew the world can not be cruel for me for once in my life. Everyone has always left me, used me, die but now I want the people in my life I have right now.

"Hey !" She chuckle wiping the tears under her eyes Lia sitting down next to her Riley opens her arms for me to hug her letting out a chuckle I walk I got them. "I've missed you pretty boy." She whispers into my ear placing my lips on the side of her head I've never felt this much comfort in my life just being in her arms. "I've missed you too." I chuckle before we both pull away smiling at each other still.

The door swings open with Ryder running in with Mc. Donald's in his hands wearing shades his stomach drops seeing Riley sitting there with a grin on her face. He gasp before putting the food down running over to her more like jogging but I'll say running. Lia hoping off she runs to the food munching on dies letting out a squeal putting a chicken nugget into her mouth with a chuckle Ryder sobbing into Riley's arms she rubs his back trying to comfort him but doesn't help.
