"You stay awake you, hear me?!" A voice seemed to yell at you, it would bob in and out one minute far and murky then next clear as day. You couldn't recognize the voice. You couldn't even recognize where you was, but it was dark for certain. Something wet on your face could be tears, perhaps rain. 

 "Don't you dare close your eyes!" It was the same voice so desperate, you could only wonder who it was. You tried to open your eyes but your eyelids felt so heavy like your own body was resisting me. 

 "Please come on!" You felt your body lift. The left side of your body warmed like you were laying against a heater and you leaned into it. Your body felt numb, like it wasn't you own. 

"Wh-" you croaked, not without effort, "What's happening?" The forward motion slowed a bit, the voice came again. 

"Shh, everything is okay. We're going home now." It all came rushing back, the war against Thanos, the snap, five years of despair, only to loose the only thing that mattered. Natasha.

"Tasha..." you croaked, 

"Quiet, my love. Everything's okay." It was her. She was here. Carrying you. You forced your eyes open and just barely glanced her face. 

"Tasha," you breathed. The world went black.

You felt a presence next to you and opened your eyes the slightest bit to see who it was. 

"How long are you going to stand there and stare like a creep?" 

"Until you're strong enough to make me leave." You reached for the button to set your bed up and tried to to wince as your torso bent into a relaxed L shape. 

"I better be dead." Nat smiled, 

"Not yet." You raised an eyebrows at her, 

"Let me rephrase that, either both of us are dead and the afterlife hurts like hell or both of us are alive and you're a liar who betrayed me and let my mourn you for the last year." Nat bit her lip. 

"So we're alive then. Great." She stepped closer to you and reached for your hand, 

"Y/n, I'm so sorry. I had to." You nodded, 

"I don't have the energy to be mad at you right now. Just explain." 

"It's a long story." 

"You conned me into thinking you were dead for 11 months, I have time."
