You flinched as another crack of lighting flashed across the sky and prepared best you could for the oncoming thunder. You were pretty sure the stinging feeling on your bottom lips was due to your teeth digging into them hard enough to draw blood. You threw the covers off and jumped up, 'screw it'. You traced the familiar hallway to her room and threw open the door, not bothering to knock. You didn't say anything, just slipped under the covers, immediately pressing into the warmth of Natashas' body.
At the feeling of your cold toes against her calves and your fingers clutching in her shirt, however, Natasha jolted awake.
"Y/n? Baby, what are you doing? What's wrong?" Natasha heart instantly began racing as she made out the pained look on your face.
"Sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, it's just- I- the storm..." and you were embarrassed because what kind of girl that you know has to climb into her girlfriends bed because of a thunderstorm? and you burried your face in her neck, inhaling her comforting scent,
"I'm sorry I woke you..."
But Natasha shushed you, sighing. Half with relief that it was just the storm, and half adoration for you, who seemed to be trying to mold your bodies together. She wrapped you up in her arms and pulled the blanket tighter around the two of you and pressed a kiss to your temple,
"Don't be stupid, Y/n. Always wake me up. Always, okay?" The room lit up breifly again but before you could even think about the storm outside, Natasha was turning your head softly and bringing her lips to meet yours.
